I think most people have experience of homesick. If you're far away or even an hour's aways form home, you'll homesick from time to time. Especially, when you're sick, tried, troubled, sad, depressed, lonely, exhausted or have nothing to do, you'll think about your hometown, your parent, sisters, brothers and friends, not to mention food prepared by your mom and scold by your father. Are you far away from your hometown right now?

hello chriszh! right now i've been living far away from my hometown, i am living far from my parents coz i am already living with my husband and his work assignment is in a different province from my parent's province... at first, or i mean on the first year that i am away from them, most of the time i feel being homesick... specially those moments that husband is not home, i don't have a baby yet and so its just me at home...so sad and boring, but thanks that there's a cellphone to communicate with them, but i always find my self crying alone...huh! but after some time, little by little i started to learn to cope up with the situation, and its also a great help that i met new friends in a place where i leave and my husband's support is a big factor... now, that i am already used to it, i seldom feel homesick and if i do, what i just do is to call my mom...but anyway again its very seldom coz most of the time i am texting with my mom or my dad and sometimes with my brother and it feels like we are still together just near to each other... by the way, its been 4 years and i just go home once every year for a week vacation...but during those days, we catch up for the lost moments and it brings me happiness and contentment and i feel so refreshed after... good day!
