What is the importance of good handwriting ?

Hello Everyone,
It is said that good handwriting;neat and readable; shows your personality. Wherever you go a person with good handwriting is preferred .
Even The great Mohandas Gandhi "The Father Of the Nation" Of India mentioned in his autobiography that he was disappointed by his very bad handwriting after seeing his colleagues' neat and beautiful during the time when he was barrister in London.
So I want to know weather your handwriting is good or bad and if bad what do you think about it and what will you do to improve it.

my handwriting is pretty good ...but i am not a student now...so when you don't write continuously...then your writing becomes bad ...but i don't think handwriting is every thing....if you are a good student..and your hand writing a bit bad..you don't need to lose heart...a little bit of practice can make it better..tc

hi harshmthakkar18 oh my my handwriting is so bad and i do'
try to improve it.my son prints every thing and his hand writing
is so beautiful. Mine is atrocious and It embarrasses me because I love to write stories. I can of course put them on my computer and that is a plus.but would love to know how to improve my handwriting. I really do try to make it more legible and printing is not something that comes easily to me. If I slow down
when writing I can improve it a bit.
