How do you deal with Tom girls ?

Thailand

I don't want to be racist or anything, but nowadays, especially in Thailand, Tom girls are becoming widely popular. They tend to try to look boyish like, cut their hair short, but in a fashionish Japanese way, also they need to put gel on and wear Dev Jeans and just try to look manlike. What are your thoughts about Tom Girls, I don't hate them because many of them are my friends, but why the fashion ?

I'm not too sure of the definition of a Tom girl but I know what a Tom Boy is because I married one and she is lovely, even after 40 years! After going out with girls who would spend hours primpimg themselves before even walking the dog, my wife was a breath of fresh air and was up for anything, anytime. As for fashion - well, it is just fashion. A look is not what is on the inside.

Nice to hear smacksman, Tomgirls in Thailand are a so called fashion, I mean Thailand/ Asian countries seem to not be shy with these issues. So once the fashion arrupted around 10 yrs ago, it became a big hit. Boys trying to be girlish trying to act weird. I dont' hate them but sometimes i wonder what other people think of them. To be totally honest, a couple of my best mates turned into Tomgirls before my eyes

I personally don't like tom girls that much. But there is a balance. If you have a nice personality and you also are a tom girl. I think that is fine. But if you are like the Bit chy tom boy kinda style. Than no one likes a bi tch. ha. But yeah kinda like a Tom boy, but also is cute and has a femenine side.

55+ I agree, no one likes a bit_ch and that is a certain fact. Tomboys are also very popular here in Thailand and yes, I agree that some are really cute, too bad they hardly ever turn into ladies unless they meet their prince of their dreams or someting.

hmm..nice ask dude.. yes its quite a bit strange girls wanna dress up like men but not vice versa...may be in fututre :P but all i can say is girls opt for the look may be because of the ease of that getting ready.. also they can happily move around without any hassles.. it saves time also makes a fashion statement.. so i guess nothing wrong.....to add up i would say..fashion is what one perceives to be best for them.. cheers...
