Did you have any cravings while you were pregnant? I craved nachos at times and could never find any so it made the cravings worse. I also craved Mexican and Chinese food. Now since I have had my child I have had a huge CHOCOLATE craving.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I craved pizza all the time and ice cream with peanut butter omg I would finish it all by myself in like three to four days or a week.

My wife had a lot of cravings. Most of all she craved for steak. Any type of steak, as long as it was well cooked. That woman can eat steak! You know the funny thing is after a while I started having the cravings instead of her. God I craved for pizza and burgers. I still have some of the weight!

Yes, Yes, YES!!!! I'm the mother of two children, a boy and a girl, and the cravings were horrible!!!! They were different both times, but they were still there. With my son, I craved milk, eggs, ice cream (all flavors), Mexican food and occasionally, Chinese. With my daughter, I craved beef - steaks, hamburgers, ribs - as long as it was beef. I could eat so much of it at one sitting, my family couldn't watch me eat. They would loose their appetite!!! I think that the cravings come from a hormone imbalance we experience during and after our pregnancies. Our bodies are missing something that can be found in the foods we crave - either vitamin or mineral. So, hang in there!!! It won't be SO bad pretty soon. Make sure you take a good multivitamin and drink plenty of water to make sure you flush it through your system. Oh, by the way, you might as well get use to the chocolate craving. It's here to stay, especially before and during your monthly cycle. Get a bag of chocolate candy, the snack size, and keep it handy. When the craving becomes too much to bare and you can't get to the store, grab TWO pieces of your stash and you will be just fine. Congratulations!!! and welcome to the club! :)
