i started cleaning people's houses on the side and this guy called me to clean his. he told me there wasn't going to be much to do cause he keeps it clean to begin with. my shoes stuck to the floor it was so thick and sticky and my swiffer wouldn't move it got stuck. the place smelled like cat urine and don't even get me started on the bathroom. what a gross job and he kept telling me his house is clean while i was there. what is the grossest job you've ever had?

One job that I knew I would not last 24 hours was to be a caregiver. I took classes and we had two weeks training in a nursing home for old nuns. The nuns were very kind, but being in their '90s, most were in wheelchairs. There was one nun who had problems with her digestion and asked for laxatives for two days. The nurse gave her the laxatives because the old nun was so persistent. On the third morning as we were doing our rounds, she got into a "accident" and since we were all busy and had finished checking on her, we just passed by her room. I could not stomach the smell of her "accident" and up to this day am ashamed that I gagged in front of her and had to leave the room and ask someone else to clean her. I know she cried because of this and refused to talk to me after the incident. I gave up trying to be a caregiver.

It sounds like he was trying to be some kind of comedian. I know people whose houses are like that, just disgusting, and they say it is just lived in. I'm sorry, that is not what I call lived in. The most disgusting job that I can remember, was cleaning out trade ins on the car lot where I used to work. You wouldn't believe that people were actually driving around with all of that garbage in their cars. On most occasions, I had to wear gloves, long sleeves, and change into an old pair of pants. YUCK!!

I would hate to see what he considers dirty then. Gross! I used to work in a state run facility for adults with major developmental delays. There was a certain resident that had bowel issues. Cleaning him up once in awhile when he had a major blow out was probably the worst. Explosive diarrhea.

It amazes me what people think of as clean. I use to clean homes most were not bad but there were the ones that you thought Lord help me. I'm never gonna get this done. No way can I get this cleaned to my standards within the 4hr time allotted. I have to be at the next clients home. Some of these peoples homes truly were scary food on the floor, trash piled and stinky,Dishes piled, dirt rings in bath tubs to say the least. Funny thing is they all really thought they were clean.

The grossest job I've ever had? Well that would be all of my preschool jobs. I've had to change very gross diapers. I've had to clean up extremely snotty noses not to mention I've had to clean up all sorts of strange things that they end up sticking in their mouths. It may not be as a gross as your job but I still think it's pretty gross.
