Have you ever had your fortune told by a psychic? Did you do it for true guidance or just for fun?

Let me tell my personal experience. I believe some psychics are accurate and tell the truth, but the others are phoney's , that just say bull sh*t. My experience was with this fortune teller. I asked her one simple question,"will i get married, and if so how many kids will i have", not to be inpolite, but you know what that b*itc* told me? She said i am infertile and will never have any kids all my life. Look at me now, 4 years late, and my fiance is pregnant. Well thats my experience, it certainly wasn't for fun.

No, I have never had my fortune told by a psychic. I had a friend who went to a psychic. Whatever the psychic told her completely freaked her out! She would not talk about it. To this day, I do not know what the psychic told her. She doesn't want to talk about it! Her experience has kind of scared me away from seeing a psychic.

no not by a psychic, at one point I used to tell my own fortune with cards but I began to get scared because I didn't want to know that much about the future, and I used to go to fortune tellers a lot in my 30's and then I stopped. Some of the things became too distressing.

I have not but my wife has and since we are part of one another and a lot of what she was told had to do with me it is kind of like I have had a psychic reading. I don't really believe in that stuff though and would not spend good money to have that done. I can think of better things to do with that money. I kind of think it is OK to do for fun, but no one should take it too seriously.

No, I don't look for people like that to hoax me into believing they know something. I would probably feel very uneasy about it anyway since I'm not in control and they would sense my hesitation. I wouldn't even do it for fun because then you give the devil a foothold and pretty soon he's got a stronghold.

I had my cards read last year before Christmas. My mom gave it to me as an early Christmas gift. I like to have it done, and think of it as pretty handy guidance. However, it is hard to narrow everything down until it actually happens. Sometimes I wished I could have one of these people around me all of the time so that they could stop me whenever I am about to make a mistake in life. LOL

hello ladym! actually, i don't really believe in fortune tellers...but i do enjoy listening on what they are saying...haha it gives me some excitement and nervousness as well... i remember when i was in college, my friends and i go to this man, and people say that he can actually read a person's future...well, he was really able to say some facts about us, and he said one thing that i can't forget, he says that in our group, one will not graduate on the same course that we have and will graduate later than the others...and she will be separated in the group...huh! we don't actually believe that but we talked about it thinking who will be that one...and to my surprise...the next year, i was separated to that group coz i shifted to another course due to some happenings...so i just remember him...hehe and when i was still a kid there's this one man telling my mom as he saw me...that i will be marrying the first boyfriend that i am going to have...hehe and well, it does happen! i am not a believer of psychics or fortune telling, but some things do really coincides with what they have told me...

For whatever reason, so-called psychics tend to reach out to me . . . just when I'm walking around (in stores or wherever). They give me tidbits of things I already know (that's not a big surprise . . . yes, I know how I am percieved just by observance). And then they tell me some shocking teaser . . . like something is going to go wrong in a few years unless I change circumstances . . . and then they tell me they can give me a reading for X amount of money on the spot - or they hand me their business card telling me to come in to their place so I can get more info about my future. But have I ever given in? No. I will have none of these so-called psychics tell me my so-called fortune . . . they all ask for money - and I cannot believe they have these "talents". I see them as opportunists. There might be some real psychics out there . . . but I'll bet these phishing psychics that approach me are bogus.

I used to become excited in going to fortunetellers, had my palms read, and sometimes with the use of cards. But I could not remember the things they told me to have materialized. Right now, I have switched my faith and entrusts my life and future to my Creator, to GOD alone under Whose plans and designs I came to be. What matters most is that His Will for my life be done and that I will be able to accomplsh the mission He has set out for me to do by following His commands as best as I can.

Fortune, as in the future? No. But I have went to a Psychic to tell me my past and future of my kids. he first told me what I was in the past life, and he answered many related questions to my life today, possibly consequences of my previous life. When I told him that I didn't have kids, he laughed and told me I was lieing. Without hesitation, he told me how many kids I have, their names, and their feelings towards me. I was really impressed by this psychic, and when I came home and asked my kids about it, they admitted their feelings towards me. Pretty weird, huh? But very true!
