To whom do you feel too close????

Hi friends,today i was thinking about me ,to whom i was being too close..to my parents,family members,sister,to my partner,colleagues,online friends,offline friends..:-)...but i think it depends upon the situation...when i am child i feel more close to my parents,then after that my school and college friends comes close to me,then to my colleagues,then came my partner,recently i am busy with online friends too...what you are feeling about this....to whom you feel close....offcourse the closeness with all relationship which i mention going to be remain...but for a time period ,its keep changing ...what you feel my friends??

I don't really feel too close to anyone. I think I have a good amount of balance in my relationships. I feel that I may like to assert conversation more often with the people around me, but I don't feel too close to them. I really like being around them and I hope that the friendships will last.

ya i feel like u, i don't close to anyone, when people need help i will help them with maximal but when i needs help no one can help me

I am exactly opposite from you! When I was younger, I tend to blend with my friends on the outside world(that means outside the house). Basically, I feel more dependent on my friends rather than my own family.
But as I grew up, I've become more closer to my family ever. Especially with my siblings. Now, I treat them as my best friends. They know everything about me and what I feel. I became so open to them. It feels good that way.

I think it does change or rearange itself as you grow and go through your life. It really depends on how your life goes and the choices you make as to who you become or remain close with. I would think if you continue to have a good relationship with your parents that they always remain close to you. And I am sure we all have friends that remain close throughout the years. I know I do and I feel very fortunate to have them and feel that closeness with them.

I am really close with most of my family, except for a couple of my sisters because we just have never gotten along unfortunately. I become really close with boyfriends too, I put a lot of time into relationships and a lot of effort. It's worth it to me, to take the time. When you put a lot of effort in to your relationships you end up benefiting by getting closer to the person. I really enjoy having people around me all the time, I hate being alone!

They say that blood is thicker than water, meaning that usually relatives will stick together. I have a LOT of relatives, so if I do not care for some of them I can like the others. Then there is the saying "Like the one you are with." that works for me. I like new friends as well as old ones, but with the old one's there is more trust.

Hmm, I can only count with my fingers the number of people that I let get "too close" to me. My definition of "too close" is that the person is that close enough to me that I let myself be vulnerable to them. That means they can really hurt me if they choose to. Even with just simple things..
I also just have a few close friends both online and offline. These would be the people that I interact with on a day to day basis, and those who have been special to me that even when they're miles away, whenever we get to talk, its like there isnt any distance between us.^_^

Hi Itzmee,
Nothing in this world is closest to me aside from my mom and dad---he's my husband. he's not only a husband but he used to be a friend and a partner. i have a childhood best friend but is now living in chicago illinois, my college bestfriend is in Canada. I am lucky that my husband is always there for me no matter what. i know he will never leave me!
