Have you ever heard the news that a Malaysian company, entitled Malaysian Online has the intention to buy Friendster by the price of 1 billion USD? The news is still new and it hits Malaysian TVs and papers all over the country

Yes I have read a while ago that Malaysian tycoon bought already the Friendster because it is losing its popularity and they are bankrupt now. Facebook and Myspace beats Friendster. Mostly asians are the users of Friendster unlike Facebook and Myspace. That's why you noticed that they have changed the theme of Friendster because of the new owner. It is very sad news to us Filipinos because we mostly use Friendster.

Why it is sad for Filipinos? I believe they still manage the site in order right?

Right! Im not saddenned about it, so long as they will maintain fs still...I have fs and fb. I keep my account because I have friends who are comfortable using friendster than fs.
