In my years of ministry I have been blessed with coming in contact with those who are depressed, bipolar, schizo, etc. My own mother had a bout with mental illness as did my aunt. Currently in my church I have at least one bipolar person. Others there have a low IQ.
I have said this from the pulpit: Compared to Jesus Christ, we are all somewhat off center.
I, too, with God's help, have battled clinical depression. I must guard my spirit so I do not slide down that abyss again.

hi pastor p, sorry i am responding so late I have not been on myot in a while, I have not really met too many people like that I can count on my finger. yes I agree we all must guard our spirit but some times it can be challenging. Well I pray that the people in your church find more better days than bad ones as well as yourself. God bless you!

I beg to differ.
Some of us are alot crazier then others, like me for instance. I have to take anti-depressants otherwise i generally attempt to kill myself. (y) Other then that, no, god doesn't stop me from doing anything. I don't believe it god. Theres nothing stopping me other then my gut instincts. Otherwise i know i'd probably be in jail by now the things ive wanted to do to people that have hurt me. Hahah....

hi crywolf, I am sorry to hear about your situation, well since you don't believe in God, maybe you can try to do things that make you happy in life when you are felling down or try to surround yourself with friends and family who care about you. Well I hop that you decide to remain around until your well into your senior years, You still young and can make allot of positive changes in your life to make you more happy about yourself. Well until then take care and keep your head up.

apgh09 right now I am about half crazy as mylot is moving so slow its sad, and really frustrating. sometimes it moves like it used to and my posts are added quickly other times it goes about three quarters of the way across then just stops. says reading mylot and it does not load. gggggrrrrrrrrrrr. so I go on to another discussion to make another response and see the one before finally did post. Just jail and God probably keep us out of trouble.

hi hatley believe me you are not the only one that thinks mylot is sleeping allot of times. I hit the refresh button and mylot is still loading, meanwhile I haev 15,000 discussions i want to post and can't due to slow slow mylot. smile Well hopefully that will get better. yeah ggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrr is right. Hatley take a deep breath and walk away from the computer, I have played this game where a person goes berserk on their computer and just starts smashing it to pieces, I play that when I want to do the same thing in real life, but the only thing that is stopping me,I don't have the money to waist on a new computer ha ha, well have a good day. sorry for the delayed response.
