For or against gay marriage?

I was really curious what everyone's thoughts on gay marriage are? What do you think about homosexuality in general? PLEASE: let's try to be as nice as possible about our discussions.. I realize this is a very touchy subject, but let's think about the feelings of the people on the other side before posting. THANKS GUYS :):) I am personally 100% fine with gay marriage. I think people should be able to love who they love and not be judged for it. Sure, it may not be the way the body is 'meant' to work and all that, but I don't see anything wrong with it at all. I really hope one day that people who are gay, bi, lesbian and transgendered can be treated the same as the rest of us. There are so many battles out there to fight, and I just don't see this being one of them.

Hello abeja_reina_1989,Well,I'm sorry to say this, but homosexuality is against the will of God.I cant explain to you the whole details but it is written in the bible.I've heard it during our worship service.Although homosexuality was accepted in the society but the truth is God Created only Men and women. Thanks,Good Luck!

Hello Hazelrose, I see where you're coming from but I just can't base my opinion on something I've been told. If something's proven by science, then I'm more willing to accept it. As far as the bible goes, I worry that it could have been altered over the years, and it's hard to know for sure who really wrote it. Just my opinion. Thanks for sharing :) Bionicman, I agree with you there. I've never read the Bible, but from what I've heard, there is no mention of homosexuality, so I think many people don't know where to stand on the issue, b/c the Bible technically doesn't tell them whether it's right or wrong, so they're not sure what to do with it. Again, I've never read the Bible, so I'm not 100% on that.

i am not against gay marriage if they have chosen this life for themselves then let them live it like this but it really feels awkward when you think ah they both guys are gay and are married and living together and feels really strange when we saw a gay or lesbians and again i will say that this is their choice , they wanted to be like this and made themselves like this and we are no body to complaint or be against this.So god bless everyone and happy living as well as earning to all.

I can completely relate to how you're feeling. This reminds me: When I was in 7th grade, I was introduced for the first time to what homosexuality was. As many other kids, we made jokes about it and just didn't understand it really. I'm glad that since then, I've had friends who are gay, lesbian, or bi and then I realized that it's okay and they're just like the rest of us. The only thing different about them is who they prefer to be with. I'm sure over-time, and with more exposure, this will become more and more normal. Thanks for responding:)

I see where you're coming from to a point, but I just can't feel the same way. I don't think they should be treated any differently. Thank you for sharing your opinion though. That was very nice of you!

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with homosexuality or gay marriage. There's nothing wrong with it. If a gay couple wishes to get married, then why should they? I understand that not everyone shares this opinion, but this is the way that I feel. This is what I think about gay marriage, just homosexuality in general.
