Sometimes you can't go back

I was caught up in this really great discussion last week and the bill paying aspect (real job) got in the way and I had to put the discussion on hold. Now I'm back after doing friday-sunday on the regular job and monday and tuesday on the side job..I waded thru 5 days planning and plotting how I would continue, ready for the next phase! Then, when I got to the discussion I stared at it blankly. I kicked and prodded the imagination but to no avail..The fire had died. The zeal was gone. I just couldn't wrap my mind around it again..Has something similar ever happened to you? Either here or elsewhere? Or was I just having a 'senior' moment?

Hey greenfeathers! Welcome to my world! Don't worry, it happens to many of us! I do the same thing and I don't even have a "real" job! I just get caught up in so many things that I just forget what I'm doing and when I get back to a discussion I totally have no idea what I was going to respond! So, don't feel so bad because you are not the only one! And we all do it and we all understand! And those of us who do have those awful "Senior Moments" really understand and feel the same way! So just do the best you can and sometimes as you are trying to respond things just pop back into your brain!

Hiya greenfeathers, Stress and too much hard work gets to all of us and I was like that at School I was so tired as I had to do housework look after my brothers that by the time I got to School I was ironed out most of the time. So the exams went to pot sometimes. I suppose it´s the same kind of thing that´s happened to you and everyone.
