The Big Four are finally going to play together!

So, the rumours were true, the Big Four will play together next year at the Sonisphere festival. It's hard to believe Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax never shared the same stage.
So, my question is, would you go to this if it were to happen in your country? I wish they would bring this show to the US, I can't understand why they wouldn't. I think the concert should happen in California, where the whole thing started 30 years ago.
Why would they only do two dates overseas, when the potential is so huge for a couple dates here in the states! Metallica tours Europe way more anyway, so I guess it's to be expected, but I think this concert should happen here!

I totally agree!I would go if it was happening here.Even though, I live in Texas, it makes much more sense for it to happen in California. Honestly, what?A tour with those four bands has the potentional to be so freaking HUGE in the US.

I know, right? I'm holding out hope that they will bring it here, but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't. I'm hoping they're just building anticipation for us, and they'll play here shortly after, but who knows.
I saw on one of the bills, that Black Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio is going to open up one of the shows. Could you imagine that, Metallica, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Slayer, and Anthrax? That would be so awesome to see.

I can say just WOW! This is maybe the biggest event that the rock world has ever seen. The Big Four will play in Sofia, Bulgaria too, so I bought a ticket a week ago when the sales began. My ticket is front of stage (right) so the first row is mine! I haven't dreamed to see Metallica and Megadeth playing together so this is more than a dream come true. I'll be extremely happy if there is a song or two where Mustaine plays with Metallica. It seems unlikely but the tour seemed to never happen too, so I won't be that surprised if it happen. The other two bands on the bill Slayer and Anthrax are also legends, although I don't listen them much but that's not such a problem xD

oh hell yea i would go.
just seeing metallica and megadeth (mustaine in particular)playing the same stage again peacefully would be a big plus.
i did see them double billed before but that was quite a ways back.
