Hello Lotters, I guess i am still blessed by the Lord that i still have my internet connection here. we just had to call Dad briefly in skype. SO, this is the second day that i have attended the Night Mass in the Church this evening. the Good thing that i did was on the first night because I was able to give seats for two ladies. one, who has relatives sitting next to me and two a pregnant woman.well, that's fine i just like standing anyways. but for the Bad thing that i saw there, first day, I saw this little boy holding the cute wooden family heart portrait, as he approaches people he's selling it to them. that's right, selling it to them while the mass is on going, something you don't see every mass except they are food carts out side the side walk within church vicinity. for the second day, they're are different quires for every night mass due to different sponsors, but for this quire i noticed a group of teenage people laughing a little with the voice of the guy, i just didn't look at them not to ruin my night. most specially noisy babies, toddlers and other youth who have 7-11 mouth. So, how are you this day? am supposed to attempt to go to a dawn mass but it's kinda late so i may not make it. Have a Great Holidays.

Looks like your very observant church goer. I think that there are many like this at church especially many are enjoying their Christmas Bonuses and many of the street vendors would take advantage of this that is why sometimes they forgot that it is not appropriate selling while the mass is ongoing. Well the crying babies and toddlers are just one thing that we should all be used to it happens every now and then. I hope you can finish the whole nine days of it I think it is a good spiritual practice of faith when you are able to accomplish something for your faith.

hello there, because such happening didn't way back a few years ago, it started showing up with more people moving in to this neighborhood. street vendors and sampaguita sellers had always been there. it's those mentioned above that annoys me the most specially during the mass. well, i didn't rant i just ignored it.

Hi LK, Good and valid observations and sentiments. I missed the first simbang gabi but based on my previous experiences in attending simbang gabi i also observed the same plus there are so many "lovers" around not paying attention to the mass but talking sweet things inside the church...being so sweet with each other creating a scene and really distractive. however, the priest being so smart always have a good way of knocking out this types of church goers and encourage them to come and be sincere with their reasons for attending the simbang gabi not for anything else.

hello ms. francisco, Nope i didn't see much lovers sweetening around, probably out-side or those who attend the Dawn Mass. the one thing i am so afraid of was gang wars, i remember last year that there was a commotion outside the church due to this frat wars. probably this got me thinking twice of going to morning mass. I see people in the night mass that i don't see during the week ends.

it's good that there's no lovers inside the church whose into public display of affection or the girl is sleeping on the boy's shoulders. i am happy to know that there are people coming over or new faces in simbang gabi than in the weekend masses. at least this is the time for them to visit the church and hopefully give thanks for all the blessings that they received the whole year!

There are so many that is not focusing in the mass actually even you and me....as I have seen teenagers always wants to go outside of the house. They are not there for the mass but for the co-teenagers to flirt. That is very sad, they don't listen what mass have in store for them but they listen flirting. Some old ones are sleeping. Me I tried to focus on the mass and put away all korean songs that was on my brain playing. yes I saw some Mommies brought their babies and babies keeps on crying during the mass and they are too plus the person besides them are not focusing on the mass. I got to thinking who are the one who really focuses on the mass. Because I am not too, whenever there are people entering or moving I am looking at them and my mother keeps on talking. I guess we are all bad in some ways. Moreover, what good I found out this morning, the voice of the choir. They are really good, I was singing along to them. They are like angels and it is a good feeling when you are singing for the Lord.

hello grecy, you know the first time i went to a mass with my nephew and niece, i was so distracted that i didn't get a chance to do communion because of their attitude in the church. they weren't noisy but they're lazy movements most specially standing up surely pissed me off., i sworn never get to mass with them again.

well, if you don't seeing those awful of behavior on the other parts of the seat you should have seated near where the priest is giving the sermon. there's no way you could have avoid doing so. why don't try sitting on the front instead of seating on the side.you should try going out in the morning, it's a bit freeze there.

hello there mika, I would have but when ever i go to church at least thirty minutes before the time, i would end up seeing the front side almost full already. although i got used to hearing kids and baby noises, it's the teens attitude that i got annoyed at. I was a teen but never that mischievous inside the mass.

In my neighborhood some are making out behind the church. unfortunately, thanks to me they got busted big time and didn't come back. youth today, they're just in it to hang out and doesn't have other excuse than so-called church goers. you should stay away from those area with strangers outside.
