Puzzles

Are you the kind of person who loves to do puzzles? I love words so I think that is one of the reasons I am attracted to puzzles. I am also fascinated with the idea of getting the answers from the clues or the other letters surrounding the word.
I think the clues are so interesting. It makes you see how challenging the English language is. Sometimes you automatically think of several answers and then have to select an answer based on the other words.
Do you enjoy doing the easy or hard puzzles. I generally enjoy one that is not too challenging but not too easy. I enjoy working at a moderate to fast pace. Of course there are advantages to the difficult ones as they force you to look up words and use different sources like reference books and dictionaries. This helps to build your knowledge and vocabulary.
So what do you think? Are you a puzzle "nerd" like me. Just kidding! But let me hear from you guys. Maybe someone out there knows how long puzzles have been around!

thats something to ponder. how long puzzles have been around? great question. i play at pogo.com. its games and lots of them are word puzzes. you make tokens even if you just play free. its not real money just to put into drawings but at least its fun to play the puzzle games or whatever. now if you become a member of the club thats even better. but you can play free.

What are you waiting for? In the last 3 months that I have been here I have not come across a single 'puzzle' question. Why dont you start. It will be very interesting. I love puzzles, mathematical problems, anagrams, quizzes!!!

I like all sorts of stuff like that that makes you think. I like word puzzles, crossword puzzles, scrabble, boggle anything like that. I like doing regular puzzles too, like the kind you have to put together. It also is good to keep you busy.
