My first pair of jeans and they fit but I have a problem

I am not a jean person. Do not have the figure for it, but when I went to my favorite large sized shop Additionelle, they had jeans that finally looked good on me were nice and black except for a small problem. They rid down slightly as they are low cut. Now my daughter-in-law wears jeans and so does my friend who is a piano teacher, and it seems that what they wear underneath does not show like my waist high underwear does. So I was wondering what do women wear under low cut jeans? Do they wear bikini underwear or go without? Or is there a kind of underwear that does not show when you are bending down? I mean without it would be hard for that time of month or for women like me who need a pad once in a while.

I am glad you found a pair of jeans that fit you although I wonder if low cut jeans are the right type for a heavier person. Never mind, if you like them enjoy them. There is low cut underwear on the market. Please wear something underneath. I have read doctor's advice against wearing jeans and pants without underwear. Women are prone to all kinds of infections. It is also not hygenic.

Also it is a little to do with modesty. They are low cut on me because I have a short waist and they might be regular on someone else. It also could be that I am between sizes. Not big enough for one and not small enough for the others. I could get a belt and they will be up to my waist. If my waist were any bigger, they would. But with large sizes they make the waist a little bigger but with me it is my hips that are big.

well i do not wear under wear under my jeans...I find it makes me feel better & no panty lines....I also wear the low cut jeans but my favorites are the ones that come to my waist...I also like the ones that are newer & have a little streach..

I often wondered that because I do not think my daughter-in-law and my friend wore any underwear under their's. I did wonder what happens if you need a pad underneath. That was what I was wondering about as well.

you wear a shirt either over the jeans or tucked into them - to hid the evidence -

I do that, but it does get uncomfortable, knowing that you have your regular type underwear and knowing you are between sizes. It must be the way they cut jeans. With other pants that have a little elastic I have no problem. I have a pair of slacks and it is not as stiff. But the jeans waist is not much more then the hip size, and my waist is smaller then it.

I hate elastic. I do not mind in underwear because the material is not much different from the cotton I usually wear, but with jeans or slacks, it sort of bunches and with underwear you were it underneath, but with jeans or slacks, it shows and it makes the pants look bunched out. I would rather have them shaped with darts to give a better fit.

I am also a large sized person, but I hate elastic around my waist (something I told my sister yesterday) Not even underwear - so I have them shoved down - I know, strange, but I've been this way since 7th grade!

When I did wear jeans I had a lot of trouble finding "normal" jeans that weren't low cut. I don't know why the low cuts are so popular, I never did find them comfortable. I wear briefs, too, that's what we call the waist-high panties. They are more comfortable than other types of underwear. I don't think there's much you can do about your undies showing except to wear your shirt over the pants and don't tuck it in.

I had that trouble. I am short-waisted and a large petite and if I got a regular sized jeans the pant legs would be too long. I had no trouble finding dresses or regular trousers in that size but jeans is a whole lot of problem. I do wear briefs and when I did wear hipsters, I was sort of trying to keep them up as they were falling down. And I did not know whether that was normal for large sized people because of that stupid stomach that stubbornly refuses to lose when the other parts of me are going down.

hi suspenseful I am not a jean person either but its nice you found one that looked good on you. I know as a big person I do have one pair of panties that ride low on myhips so maybe they are bikini type but I figure if I ever got a pair of jeans I could wear them under the jeans. oh hey call Additionelle and ask them because I am sure they probably have the panties you would need that would not show if you bent over.

I can do that. I shop there all the time. And we are going shopping tonight. I have some hipster panties at home, but I have lost weight and they would just fall off or be at the bottom of my seat.

Did you get these low cut jeans by mistake? I was thinking if you did and if there's still time, you might can take them back and exchange them. I wear jeans just about all the time, myself, but they're not low cut. I wear men's jeans because I like the way they fit better. I wear bikini underwear with mine. Kathy.

I liked them. It is just that they ride low on me as I am shortwaisted. If I had a long waist it would have been different. I had to get a large petite because the other regular larged sized jeans I would have had to make the legs a little shorter. But I wanted to know what to wear underneath. I am also losing weight. I tried on a size 16 large petite and it did not fit, but almost, and this size 18 large petite is a bit large. Too bad they do not sell a size 15 large petite.

They do look good though and I bet next year, I will be wearing a size 16. I have not checked what size waist goes with a large size 18, it could mean a little larger then what I have.
