A nice twist (Phyllis and Deacon)

On today's show, it was revealed that Phyllis wasn't actually conspiring with Deacon to kidnap Amber at all...it was a setup and Amber, Phyllis, Daniel, and even Paul were in on it! I thought this was a nice surprise and it really helps redeem Phyllis as a character. I know she has her impulsive and destructive side, but I had a hard time believing she would try to take her son's wife away from him after all Daniel has gone through no matter how much she dislikes Amber. It's about time Deacon got arrested for something as well; maybe now he'll spill the beans about Sheila, Ryder, and Daisy. I think the writers did a good job with the setup story.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but I am really happy to hear that. I was really, really disappointed in Phyllis when she arranged that.

I bet there's at least a teeny bit of bad girl still in her. :-)
don't know what they'll be showing on those days, but it will be recording, so we shall see!

I had though she was trying to get rid of Amber but I was not right. If Deacon can prove that Phyllis set him up a good lawyer especially on soaps will get him off. Nick though was upset with Phyllis about not telling him and she brings up Sharon I still think they have lost trust between them and Phyllis should get together with Jack I really like them together.

The set up was good except that Phyllis' fingerprints are all over the phone and a good lawyer could find a way to prove some kind of entrapment. Like a lot of characters, Phyllis will continue to swing between a good and bad side, just like Jack, Victor, etc. Now of course Amber is worried about little D.
