MOst of us long to come home this Christmas. We are fortunate and blessed if we can celebrate it with our families. But our work may take us somewhere else, thus celebrating Christmas alone or with strangers or friends. Where will you be this Christmas?

I will be at home. But before Christmas, I will have my wisdom tooth pulled out, so I can't enjoy too much in the holiday. I will rest for most of the time, and of course try to get on Mylot to partipate discussions in here. I will also spend time with my parents. That's just what I do in regular days. No matter where we are, we can try to feel the Christmas atmosphere and not to focus on the fact that we can't be together with our family.

I'll be at home this Christmas. Or in that general area. Christmas Eve dinner is at our house this year. Then Christmas Day we have dinner at my grandmother's house about 50 min away and then we go to my husband's great aunts house to visit which is another 20 min away. Then the day after Christmas we will go down to my parents for yet another Christmas dinner so we can exchange gifts there. It is going to be a long week.

I will be at my mother and stepfather's house. My extended family will be there. My grandma, aunt, one cousin, my stepbrother, his wife, my step-nephew (I don't EVER think of him as a step, he's just my brother's kid. I don't think of my brother as a stepbrother either). He's just my brother, always had been). Also, I'm excited to meet my niece Ariah for the first time.

Home is where I want to be for Christmas. Unfortunately, I work in far west now. I'll just spend this holiday catching on my sleep and reading.

This Christmas, I will probably be at home with my family celebrating. My parents are planning on also celebrating their anniversary as well because they were married on Christmas Day. I am very fortunate and blessed to have a chance to celebrate Christmas with my family because like you said, many others will have to be away from home on this day whether it be for work or other reasons, so I'm very thankful for this opportunity.

I will be at home with my family this Christmas. It is going to be me, my husband, and my children. I plan to cook our dinner in the morning while the kids are playing with all of the stuff that Santa brought them for Christmas. In the evening we are going to play board games.

mensab where I was last year as we still do not have a home at all, myson is still out of work and I am still here at Gold Crest so here i am and here I will be, my son will come to see me, but where we both are is not home for us.But at least we are both in under cover, and have shelter and are fed and all, but the heart still longs for a home. I think that is just natural of all people. hope this coming year finally makes things better for us who need jobs, not me as I am 83 and partly handicapped but my son. we shall see.hope is there.
