I am guilty of giving someone a gift that was given to me. My reason was because i had run out of money not because i didnt like it. What if someone gave you a gift that you had given them the last Christmas. They even expressed they didnt like it and said it was the thought that counted. Would that make you alittle upset? The sad thing about it is, the gift as i was told, will be given to someone else again. The gift will have been given 3 times. I'm still laughting about this one and thinking how crazy that is.

A gift given is a gift given! Its all about the goodness of your heart and your intentions! Its never about the price of the gift for me

i feel that in your condition i would have expressed my genuine wishes and tried to gift them something creative (a hand made card or simple rose from the garden,or a photo of myself and that person together to express how important they are to me).and if i really feel pressed up to gift them then keeping the cash crunch in mind i would have asked them to suggest me if they liked any particular thing owned my me which they can keep as a token of love.anyways the damage is already done .so just try to consider other options before re-gifting .

It was a story that a strange told me at work. She was really upset. I just kind felt guilty because i had regifted once, but her story was really strange to get the gift back and than give it away again. Strange but true.

Hi, I think it is not wise to give the gift we received from someone to someone else. For me, all gifts from whoever to me are special and worthy. Someone give something to us, of course, because they care us and they love us.
