What's the most weight you've lost?

After about 2 months of dieting and daily exercise, I've lost around 50 pounds! Sadly I still have around another 50 to go. I've never before in my life lost 50 pounds (except for the night the twins were born, but that doesn't count). So this is the most I've ever lost, and it's also the thinnest I've been since before the twins! What is the most amount of weight you've lost through diet and exercise?

I think the most I lost at one time was the 75 pounds I lost last year, but sadly it found me again..lol and now I will again try to lose it and this time try to find the tracking device and smash it so it can't find me this year.. But if I had to add all the weight loss together that I have done over the years since I was 9 years old well that would add up to over 1,000 pounds. I was on alot of diet growing up and throughout my adult life..and every year I am on one or more to lose but I always gain it back..

Yeah, that has been me too, but I've never lost more than 20 lbs until now. I'd diet for a month, get fed up with it, then binge for 3 months straight! So far this one has been totally different, and I'm hoping I can maintain my weight once I feel like I'm done dieting... even if I decide that now, so long as I can maintain this weight, that will be less to lose the next time I decide to diet.

My mom was overweight and had no control over what she ate, so of course she never taught me any control. (As I grow out of my pants I'm giving them to my 15 year old sister who is around 200 lbs) So if I see a cheesecake and want to eat the whole thing, I will, without thinking twice. I've never in my life had to tell myself to stop eating. That, for me, is the hard part about dieting. I know there are times where I won't be able to avoid a dessert, such as at a birthday, or other party, or holiday function. But it's hard for me to stop eating something that tastes so good. One slice isn't enough, I want to stuff my face until I'm full, or until it's gone, whatever comes first.

My mom was/is overweight and I was on diets since I was probably 9-10..seems everyone in my family is overweight. Parents, siblings,Cousins, aunts, uncles and my grandparents and great grandparents were also. We all do love to cook and eat..and we go overboard alot of the time. it is hard to stop at eating when something taste so good..I also have a compulsive eating disorder that doesn't help me. Thanks for the best response it is appreciated.

The most important aspect to weight loss is getting enough exercise. I started slow, but now I'm up to around 1 hour of cardio exercise everyday, plus a bit of weight lifting but not much. I do not want to gain a lot of muscle, just shed the fat. I try to do half an hour of really hard cardio like running, then half an hour of more moderate cardio, where my heart rate is around 130 or 140.

I guess the most would probably be about 25lbs. I lost that the first time I did weight watchers. I'm doing weight watchers again and so far I'm up to 21 lbs. Way to go on losing 50 lbs! That is incredible. I don't know how you fit it all in with kids running around all the time lol. Once I lose all I need to it will total up about 75 lbs. I hope I can keep at it.

The most I ever lost outside of childbirth was 35lbs and sadly enough that was 10 yrs ago. I could use a loss of 100 & I'd be really happy. I just don't think I could ever do it, not even teh 35lbs again.

The biggest pound I lost maybe 30lbs last 3 years but I gained a lot of weight again. It is hard to be back into shape again now that holidays are coming. I tried to diet and exercise I lose a bit but I want to lose weight more because of my hormonal imbalance. I feel frustrated now because it is very hard for me to lose more weight.

You have every right to be so proud of yourself and I am sure that your husband is proud of you too. Actually after 4 children I was about 145 at my heaviest. It was when my husband began getting so ill and with no health care our savings only lasted less than 2 years. I know that I have eaten my emotions. But, you have really inspired me to try again and I will go to lose 30 lbs in January. I am going to try so hard but there will not be much exercise but will try to walk more up and down the stairs at work at least 3 times daily. Hope to heaven that I do not fall! Have a wonderful Christmas, dear friend.

When I first began my diet I had no way of exercising either. I did not own any work out videos, did not have cable TV, no gym membership, and it was already getting pretty chilly out so it was difficult to get outside. What I did for the first few weeks was just some exercises in my living room. I did some crunches, push ups, squats, leg lifts, things like that. After a bit I went and bought some 2 lb weights to work my arms some more. Then I bought a work out DVD and started doing that every day. Now I finally have the gym membership so I'm able to do an hour of serious cardio everyday. But it's best to start small with whatever you can do at home. The internet is a great resource to help you find exercise ideas that you can do at home in your free time.

I think I had lost around 9-10 kilo. This was when I was working and had to work at night. I did not do anything special. Also I never intended to loose weight. However it happened on its own.

I once lost 40 pounds. I have since gained it all back and then some though. But after I lost that much I was too thin. Although right now I should probably lose at least 20 pounds. Although, I'm horrible at dieting. At least I like to exercise though.

congratulations on your weight loss. I too have lost 50 lbs. I lost it all over a period of about 8 months after having my baby. I too still have about 50 to go.. maybe even 60..I will have to see when I get there though. I am fixen to start the HCG diet on the 8th. I am pretty excited about it. I try to fit in work outs when my baby is asleep but it is hard to fit in workouts, do school work, and clean all when he is asleep. lol

am asian and petite in nature so i really don't gain a lot of weight. they say the bigger a person is the faster and naturally, the greater the amount of weight loss is achieved if dieting is done properly. about 12 lbs. was the weight i lost most and like you, it was a post pregnancy weight. but i guess it was an achievement since that post preganancy time frame am talking about is 2 years . actually, i think it was supposed to be a permanent weight already but luckily i know how one who has a frame like me should eat...

I guess the most would be around 50 pounds. But I guess the most important thing is how long has it been maintained. For me unfortunately it hasnt. Maintaining the loss is the hard part.

The most I've lost is about 3.50 kgs in a span of 10 days. One fine morning I weighed 72 kilos for the first time. That's when I decided to follow a strict regimen and could lose 3.50 kilos in a span of one week or 10 days. This was possible due to specific Yogasanas which I practised.
