Unfortunately and much to my heart's pain, I am divorced so I don't have a mate to spend it with anymore. My sons were adults when it happened and they stayed in the same area as their dad while I moved back "home" across the country so I wouldn't have to deal with him and his adulteress new wife. My sons usually come for Christmas but this year our economy is so bad that one isn't coming at all and one is coming in January so I'll have an empty house on Christmas except for my two dogs. I'll spend Christmas Eve with my cousin if the weather cooperates and Christmas day with my father and my wonderful stepmother. My mom and sister are 1500 miles away and my brother and sons are in the same state 1850 miles away. We are really very spread out, what a shame! I hope you have a wonderful, loving Christmas!

I always spend xmas with my family. The only time i didnt spend xmas with my family was when i was pregnant and that im staying with my live in partner in another place and the year after i am working during holidays, cant file vacation leave because im still on probationary period. But as soon as i got regularized, i was able to file leave as soon as the year started and was able to spend xmas with family since then.

i dont like to be together with my family to spend my christmas, because this festivel is our traditional festivel.so my father would not be willing to celebrate this festivel.so i often invite my friends to celebrate christmas,i find that we would be together to have a dinner, this make me be happy,we often are busy at our job and owned family,it is difficult to be together for us.so we like to be together to celebrate christmas and share life and happyness.

Yep. We celebrate together. It's very traditional though. I'd like to spend it with friends in the future for a change.

We will be spending Christmas with friends this year. One of our kids has to work Christmas, one is with her in-laws in another state and the oldest daughter will be out of town also. One of our daughters is a firefighter/paramedic and so is her husband so they work all the major holidays. We will have fun with friends and will really enjoy the home cooked meal.

We call it Noche Buena here in the Philippines. It is best to spend Christmas with family. I can't imagine myself spending it with other people except maybe if I'm forced to like when I am away because it is required by my career or studies whatever.

Yes, I spend christmas with my grandparents, mum, half my siblings and uncles. We have roast beef (certain family members aren't keen on Turkey) which is fine by me. It's nice to get together at christmas but we get together often anyway.

I've always spent Christmas with my own family, because all my friends are with their families as well so there's no point in getting together. Besides, there are always presents under the tree to open, new games to play with, and good quality time spent with my family. It's always good like that.

Hi codris. Like you, I also stay with my family every Christmas day. Spending Christmas with family is really different from spending Christmas with just friends. I can feel real happiness when I am with my family on that very special day. But, this coming Christmas, I will be celebrating it with my boyfriend. It will be our Christmas together and I am very excited about it. Of course, I will have dinner with my family before Christmas eve but I will be going out with my boyfriend after that one. Advance Merry Christmas to you

For now, I spend my Christmas with Family althogh I wish I wasn't forced to. Christmas with my family is like a huge war that is pretty much endless. This Christmas I've been trying to spend as much time a humanely possible with my boyfriend who seems to be the only one who doesn't pick fights.

I always spend the morning with my family. After that the day is spent with my boyfriend to where we visit each others houses because our parents decided they want to see both of us. Then its kind of a do whatever you want day. My parents don't make us stay home the entire day, they know there are other things we want to do and other people that we want to see and its just good enough that we spent a little bit of time with them.

Yes, the members of you're family are the ones you're most comfortable with and they're the ones who's gonna accept and forgive you come what may.
