What all things are required to travel abroad?

Hi friends, what are the things that are required for a happy foreign tour. I mean what are thing that we should remember to take with us and what are the things that we should do before going for the tour. Also what are the problems that we are likely to encounter during the tour. Also what are the things that we should do after the tour. Also what are the precautions to be taken. Also any advise or thumb rules.... Also can you please share your experience of your foreign tours.

First of all a traveler should get a passport. Then he or she sould choose where to go. It would be wise to get travel insurance and to read travel guide books on the destination to be visited. Sometimes he or she would have to obtain a visa. It would be wise to pack money, passport and bank charges in a money belt. Then to pack the luggage but not make it too heavy to carry. It would be sensible to take a camera, memory cards and batteries. When on the trip is it lovely to meet the local people to see the sights in the region. When getting home it is lovely to get all the photos printed.
