If yesterday was your last day would you be proud of yourself? Would God be proud of what you did yesterday? This all comes from someone dropping off a dog at wal mart yesterday! We had went to wal mart yesterday to do our grocery shopping and someone dropped off a dog and drove off. We didn't see the person that dropped off this dog. We did see this man almost hit the dog instead of stopping and getting the dog out of the way he just kept driving. This dog was a pain seeing the dog chase this guys truck, but this guy seemed to not even care if he hit the dog. I can't understand why someone would just drop the dog off. So my question to all of you is if this was your last day on this earth would you be proud of yourself? When you stand in front of God would God be proud of you?

I am sure that each of us try to do our best each and every day. I mainly wrote this post for those that dropped off a puppy in the wal mart parking lot. It made me so upset I wanted to scream at this guy he almost ran over this pup. I just want people to stop and think before doing something stupid. I have a memory problem and can't remember things either but when it comes to people doing something stupid like dropping off a pup that sticks with me. I just can't see getting an animal and then dropping it off when they don't want to take the responsibility of training the animal. I don't like lazy people. When someone gets an animal they have to take it on as if it was a child the animals don't know if people don't teach them.

I would be proud of myself today because i did 3 hours service learning. Even though it was tough, but i still think it is worthy as i learn many things in this 3 hours span. But i realized that i cannot speak Mandarin well (i learned nearly 4yrs), some of the company's client couldn't understand what i was saying. pretty embarrassing =(.

Hello Davissiu and welcome to my lot. That would be embarrassing to not know a language and no one understand what is being said. That makes me think about our preacher he says that if your going to preach in Mexico know the language or have a great interrupter or when you say Amen the people won't know when to say Amen.

It is very sad what that man did to that dog. Maybe he was hoping if he dropped the dog off in a crowded area someone would take it. Poor dog. I think I have lived my life right for the most part. I am not perfect as no one is but over all I am a good person. I take care of others as much as I can, and I have taken in a stray cat. I try to live my life honestly and fairly and be good to others. Again not a perfect person as no one is but I believe I am a pretty good person.

Hello Lady. I think your a pretty good person. I have read many of your post and responses and you try it seems to be a good person. God don't expect any of us to be prefect but He does expect us to at least try to do what is right in HIS eyes.

Yes, I would be proud of myself. To this day, I have lived my life the way I have wanted to and hope to do the same. I have learned to let go of the past, live in the present and plan for the future. Living life to the fullest every day is key!

...Hi there free_man, You pose a very interesting question. I could only hope that the Lord would be proud of me, but there are a lot of things that I can think of that He called on each of us to do, such as love your enemy, and your neighbor as thyself, do good for the poor, don't covet your neighbor's wife or his donkey :o), just to name a few. We try daily to do good things, but I don't think a lot of us actually think about what the Lord asks of us. So I am probably proud of myself for not doing horrible things which might hurt someone, but I think a few of the things required for the Lord to be proud of my being here might be a bit far off as yet. Perhaps though, He would have mercy on me, extend grace for my trying. Take care.

Hello Artistry. That is all that God wants is us to try and be the best we can. HE also wants us to plant seeds about HIM and teach people the truth about HIM. God wants our love and respect. As long as we all try to be good people and love our LORD God and keep Gods word then HE will forgive our short comings.

I would like to answer your main question here, not based on the story you told about the other day. I would definitely be proud of myself and all the things i did, no matter if there were success or failure. In my opinion no one should ever be regretful about what they have done. Those actions had to be taken under certain circumstances and yet taken. Oh, one last thing, even though i believe in God i don't care if he would be proud of me or not, at all. I live for myself, not for anyone else's appreciation.

Hi Amorti. I think we should all live for what we need to do in our lives but I think it is important that we try to be the best we can. I don't want to face God with out His blessings on how I live my life. I hope and pray that God will be proud of me for what I do with my life.

I believe I would be. If you’re not you have the rest of the day to make sure you’ve done something, or at least made one person. Get going By the by, nice post!
