Should My Lot Pay Extra Money for Page Views?

As a writer I have always wondered why My Lot has not thought about paying extra money to its community. Can My Lot change its thinking to expand on social networking and page views for more pay? Can it be done, this is the question? How would it affect the My Lot revenue?

It would be interesting to have, but I feel it would be too easy to abuse so I doubt Mylot would ever implement such a thing.

I'm sure they do, they always seem to have something new up their sleeves! I'm just waiting for the day they get media attention, and bam. Hundreds of thousands of people joining up!

I believe if mylot could implement this they would have guidelines about what type of post and discussions they would pay for. It all comes down to if they want new changes for the 2010 year, who knows - they may have something in the works that mylot users are not aware of.

You mean like they have on Yuwie? I think that would be a good idea but it might be difficult to implement, mylot gets revenue every time someone visite a page to comment on a discussion, viewing a discussion and the associated adds just out if interest would be a much rarer event. It might be viable for myLot to invite people to write blogs on thier homepage which have keyword linked adds and pay for profile views.

Heya... I'm interested in Yuwie. You have any idea what it is? Hmm... yeah, I would like that to happen, but it really depends on mylot and their mathematicians. It would be better if they can just pay us to socialise and not only post discussions. Something like a paid facebook. :P I would like that. :) I think we should get paid for every blog post that we update here on mylot. What I mean is like you submit your blog into mylot, and then you just post and get paid for that, because in a way you are actually blogging on mylot as well. What do you think?

Thanks Jenny for your insightful comment, I do believe this would be a great idea for mylot to implement this. It would be like you are submitting interesting and engaging blog post. I really would like to see this happen, it would be a benefit for great thinkers in the mylot community. I have never heard of yuwie, I will have to check it out later today.

most of mylotters are here for quick buck and you won't see many quality articles unlike revenue sharing sites. posts here are not reviewed unless they have gained a lot of popularity or has broken the rules. you can even find misspelled words, wrong grammar, senseless talkings. would you pay extra money for someone who can't even use capital letters? hehehe

Love your comment - because it is so true as it relates to any form of writing online, whether it be blog post or traditional writing. Never say that this cannot be done, we do not have a crystal ball on what mylot has planned for 2010.
