Everyone has their own favorite web browsers. IE, Mozilla, Chrome, Opera etc. So which one you use the most and why? Do you use it because you like it more than all other browsers or you use it just because it is the faster or has more features? I usually use Google Chrome and I like opera too. I use Mozilla and IE occasionally. How about you? Happy Mylotting!

Very true. And I also love all those useful plugins. they make life easier. i recently had my laptop serviced and with the use of Xmark, I was able to copy and upload all my bookmarked sites which I downloaded on this computer I am using right now. without that plugin, I wouldnt be able to remember all my favorite sites. Now, this computer feels like my laptop. :D

I used to be a huge fan of Mozilla Firefox and would use it for everything and then a few weeks back i was having problems getting into mylot with firefox, every time I would go to hit the submit button and it would bring up a pop up and say that I was having a virus well I decided to switch back over to my internet explorer while this was fixed but I have just decided that I will keep IE for the time being.....until I have a problems with that one again I guess..

It depends what Kind of activity I'm gonna do. If I just simply browsing page after page, I prefer firefox and chrome, but chrome have smaller memory load than firefox. If I want to play online game, I use opera. it can compress all the image, so it will load faster. If i want to look some design site, I use safari, best to load design web :)

That is right. I agree. Every browser is good for some particular activity. Some are good for features. Some are for security. Some are for speed. Happy Mylotting!

I like Mozilla Firefox as I can use a lot of add-ons to stop bad stuff from being installed. I don't like IE at all. It takes forever to load, freezes, and crashes. I like Opera for it's widgets! I don't like Chrome doesn't have basic options as Mozilla to delete the history or to block certain things. Too sad.

Chrome is having the basic options like deleting history or not storing history at all etc. You can manage it by going to settings and set the options that you want. And you can also block certain things. Opera is more colorful! Happy Mylotting!

In choosing a favourite browser I look at several criteria. 1) Actual installation size. 2) Available features without the need for add ons. 3) Speed and amount of resources used 4) OS compatibility 5) Security and stability 6) Website compatibility. 7) Innovation. Between the four mentioned browsers, Opera has the smallest footprint or actual installation size. Yet the features available are a lot. It is fast and stable, even with many open tabs. Currently the Opera team is the fastest when it comes to patching up security holes. Opera is currently the leader in browser innovation. For example it has tabbed browsing since version 5, Speed Dial long before Chrome, and Paste and Go since version 9.6. The only downside is there are a few websites which are not completely compatible with Opera. This is a small issue, since most others do.

I do agree. Opera is really having innovative features and it also has an option to speed up a slow connection. I am not so familiar with it but using it of late. Thanks for the detailed response. Happy Mylotting!

I use Internet Explorer. There is no specific reason as such but I am comfortable with it. As I have been using this since long a kind of fondness is there. Have a nice time now and for ever.

IE 8 is having some nice features and it is also looking quite nice these days. And given the fact that IE is compatible with almost all the website gives it a credit. And so it is the leading default browser. Always, Have a very nice time! Happy Mylotting!

I'm a happy Mozilla Firefox user. Not only because of the tabs function, that nowadays have other browsers, but I find it quick and reliable too. Also it has many useful tools that you can install to make your navigation easier and more pleasant

Yes now all browsers have the tab option but it was Firefox which used that option since long. It is said to be more secure and faster. So it scores highly in most of the basic needs of an internet browser. Happy Mylotting!

IE is simple and most compatible with all websites out there. The new version is also having some improved features so it is more useful now. But the speed is a bit slow comparing to a few other browsers. Happy Mylotting!

I like Fire fox the best that web browser has so many Features that just make it the best browser even though I have not tried every browser out there. Off course a year ago I never cared for fire fox since I thought it was way to slow and it did not work that well. But its a good thing that they fixed those problems and made it into the best web browser ever.
