Do you snore when sleep?

My wife always complains about my big snore during sleep, but I know nothing about it! Recently I went to sleep before her, and I fell in sleep very quickly after lying down. When she prepared sleep I woke up and she said to me I just had big snore again but I don't know it at all. She said maybe next time she'll record the sound as prove lol. How about you my friend, do you snore when sleep, does your lover complain about it?

That's also my problem with my husband coz he snores a lot. I always wake him up when he started to snore and he stops but after awhile he snores again that's why i'm always having bad sleep because of the noise he makes at night.

HI, mostly when you fall a sleep and know nothing about it then you can be snore without knowing anything... lolz... Or sometimes you are so tired during the day, or sometime it is your habit... lolz

No, i don't. My friend once told me that i snored while sleeping and that made me wonder, but I only got to find out later that it was a way of getting back at me cos i told her that she always snored (and she did).

No i do not snore when sleeping. But one of my relative snore heavily. Once when we were at his home, I was literally afraid to hear him snoring.

I do snore when I sleep, and I know it myself. I didn't need anybody to point it out. Actually, if you are really aware, there are the in between stages of wake and sleep states, where you are still snoring, but almost about to wake up. If you can be aware of these states, then you can listen to your own snoring. Many people haven't agreed with me, and have said, it's impossible to listen to yourself snore. But in my opinion you can. I have heard myself snore in sleep. But nobody would agree with me. But later, my girlfriend confirmed that I snore very loud at times and it's annoying. Ha ha ha.. But it's very very rare when I have heard myself snore.

I typically dont snore in my sleep, but if I am really tired and exhaused I have been known to. I also snow when I am sick. I remember when I was pregnant I snored every night, it was probably from having pressure on my insides. It used to really bother my husband and he was constantly waking me up telling me to roll over! It hasnt happened though since I have had my son. I guess that makes him happy!

Snoring: A rough rattling noise made on inspiration during sleep by vibration of the soft palate (the back of the roof of the mouth) and the uvula (the prominent structure dangling down at the back of the mouth). On inspiration, air on its way to the lungs travels by the tongue, the soft palate, the uvula, and the tonsils. When a person is awake, the muscles in the back of the throat tighten to hold these structures in place and prevent them from collapsing and vibrating in the airway. During sleep, the soft palate and uvula may vibrate causing the sounds of snoring. Snoring is believed to occur in anywhere from 30% of women to over 40% of men. (medterms.com) i hate the sound of snore but i stop getting angry with it when my family told me that i snore... i cant believe it, i didnt snore for the past past years... but now im shy to sleep with my friends...

I don't snore, but in the other hand, my boyfriend snores a lot. When we sleep together he wakes me up all the time with his snoring, and I wish there was a way to make him not to snore, but there seems not to be a good remedy for that

Luckily I'm not the snoring type of person. Every time I sleep with other people, I always ask them if they snore or not. I can't easily sleep with noise around, especially snores. Arghhh... I just ca't stand snores. Peace out!

My boyfriend snores occasionally, but only when he's really deep in sleep. I believe I snore often, because my boyfriend and my mom say I do. However, it doesn't bother my boyfriend, he usually falls asleep after me and has no problems. My mom snores like a bulldozer though! I always tell her one day I'm going to record her snoring so she'll actually believe us. If you try to sleep in the same room as her, you'll have a problem!

Sometimes If I am having cold and my nose is blocked then I will snore. But usually I will not snore. But my roommates snores a lot. And If I will tell them they are not snoring like you they will not accept :-)

I've been told everyone snores. Some more then others. Though not everyone is aware of it. When we sleep the world might as well not exist. That's just how it is. So we rely on others to tell us if we are or not. Unless you're one of those who can catch yourself every once and a while, but most can't. Myself included.

I didn't even know that I snore when I sleep until my mother told me when I was younger, (this was like 5 years ago) Ever since then, I neer caught myself snoring, its hard to catch myself, (lol) :) (I know that my mother isn't exactly my lover, but I love her...)
