I notice some change in the keyboard of a pc and a laptop or notebook. The keys of pc keyboard are elevated and require normal pressing as a typewriter. But for laptap the keys are on the base level. May be once we are used to it, it will be easy to operate. We may even get speed. But for now I feel it is difficult for me to operate. For you, which one is easy to operate, whether the keyboard of pc or keyboard of laptop?

Actually.. both. Its not really that hard to use them once you get used to them. I have been using a PC for years so its no problem for me to type anything I want.. Also.. The only problem with a laptop is that you have to place it so that its easy to place your hands on it.. which isn't really such a big problem. Unless you have a table that is the wrong size.. Both the keyboards on a laptop and the PC are basically the same.. so it shouldn't really be a problem to type anything if your used to typing on the other computer.. :/

The keyboard keys of a laptop are base fixed whereas in pc, it is a bit elevated. I feel one needs some practice to type in a laptop.

Hi there, For me, it's not a problem. I'm very familiar with the keyboard so I can input fast with both keyboard of PC and laptop. I don't use the number keyboard which lays in the right part of keyboard of PC.

If you are not using the right side number keyboard, then it is easy for you to operate Desktop Laptop.

Pc keyboard is bigger than laptop keyboard. It's convenient for us to input number by using a pc keyboard which is full sized. Most laptop keyboards don't have full sized keyboards. So it's difficult for us to be used to both desktop and laptop keyboards. If you have to use both of them you can buy a external full sized keyboard for your laptop. And then you can aviod inconvenient while you change your computer.

I have not seen anyone using external keyboard for a laptop. May be it is not popular. But certainly Desktop keyboard is easier to use than laptop keyboard.

Hi Aunty, I am more comfortable to operate with a computer keyboard as i use more numbers to type which is placed toward our right hand side and i miss them on the laptops. And i feel its easy to use a keyboard. have a great day.

Hello Buchi_bulla. The great difference for me when I use my laptop and the desktop in the office lies in the keyboard. I cannot type fast on a desktop keyboard, but I can type fast when I use my laptop keyboard. As to the other sides, I don't find it any hard for me.

For me the keyboard of a pc is more convenient than the keyboard of a laptop. Compared with the two, keyboard of the pc is better than the keyboard of the laptop

Hi! I handle better with the PC- it has more buttons, which is easier to me and I also like, that the screen is a little bit not so close to me!

Actually the only problem I have regarding the keyboards is the numbers that are on the right side of the PC that are not found on the laptop or notebook, which I miss. I also find that I type just a little faster on the laptop.

I wish the laptop manufacturers notice this point and add this feature in their coming laptops. That will be useful to many like you.

I am sure you will like it once you are use to it. I have a Toshiba which is 16". I liked it because it has a numpad just like the regular keyboard. Also the key have a different finish which is more like of the external keyboard. If you are missing and not able to adjust to the keypad then you can try a docking station.
