I like flowers a lot. I do not have much space around my house to keep flower plants. I have only hibiscus and some white and red mixture flowers. So I buy flowers daily, keep some to God and rest I keep in a vase and also in front of my house, at the top of the main door. Do you love flowers? Do you keep them in a vase or any where in the house or work place?

Hi Buchi_bulla Omg, at first I think your profile pics is a horse, but once I look closer to it, it is a cool leopard I like flowers too, but I don't like when they die, so I prefer plastic flower. I prefer one sprig flower and keep them in small vase. Don't like too much flowers because it distract my attention while doing something.. So far, I only have on on my desk.

Hai Chrysan T flower, from your name, we can easily make out that you like flowers. I am happy at last you found out that my avatar is leapard. I selected my avatar to inspire me to be active and energetic like the leapard. I cannot run like horse as I have knee-pain.

Hi Aunty, I love flowers. Even we buy enough flowers daily and offer to the god while doing pooja. In the left out flowers i use to put the pookolam and also put in the flower vase and also i use to put the entrance door and also put in a small mud round pot fill it with water and decorate on the water with the rose or any left out flowers and in the nite i use to lite the floating candles in that. have a great day.

As per fengshui, the mud pot with water and flower kept at the north east corner (if I am correct as that is the God's corner as per vasthu shasthra) is very good for the house and brings positive energy to the house. I am happy you are doing it.

For me I don't really buy a ton of flowers. A lot of times flowers can be extremely expensive to buy and I don't see how its worth it for them only lasting a few days. Now I use to have an orchid plant in my room for quite awhile because for the $15 you can spend on it it will last months. So if its potted then of course, but if its only in a vase I try to only ask for them on special holidays and even then I think I'd rather want chocolate.

One way you are right. Flowers are not cheap like before. We have to spend much for them. I buy only little flowers and use them in a minimised way. On festival days and occasions, I buy more.

Hai Checkmail, when you said you like flowers a lot, I immediately went to check not your mail but your profile. You did not disappoint me. The yellow rose is simply superb. You are right. Fresh flowers and their fragrance give us fresh feeling and energy. I am happy you have space to keep plants. Enjoy your garden friend.

Hi Buch_bulla, I too love flowers. But I hate plucking them. I like having them around though. So if another person gives them to me, I dont mind it as much. :) I keep a few artificial ones in drawing room, and dining room. Bedroom - no. Desktable No. I have enough choice in screen savers. :)

We often keep a bouquet of flowers of some kind (usually roses) on the dresser in the bedroom. It's the only surface in the apartment where we can keep flowers, where the cat won't knock them down. LOL

I hope your cat Shakthi (am I right) also enjoys the roses. I feel roses are best for the bed room vase. When we are in a relaxed mood, taking rest or reading, the roses give a soothing effect.

I love flowers..I'm very fond of gardening..Gardening is my favourite hobby..So I have lots and lots of flower plants around my home.I love to keep vases in my home too. I prefer to keep natural flowers in my home. So I have some cut flower plants in my garden. And I change the flowers in the vase regularly. But in my office I have vases with artificial flowers..But still flowers are flowers..and they make us feel fresh and good..

Very true. Flowers are flowers whether real or artificial. Whenever you are fatigued and tired, the sight of flower, whether real or artificial, will certainly rejuvinate your mind. We get some fresh feeling, is it not? If good fragrance of the flower is coupled with it, then the fresh feeling is doubled.

When you have small children at home, naturally we should be careful. When they grow up, even they will enjoy flowers at home in the vase.

I like flowers & my mother is a plant lover but unfortunately my health does not permitme because I am asthmatic & I always sneeze due to the smell & the pollen of the flower. I only keep artificial flowers but itsreally a big difference from the true one.

Something is better than nothing. If you cannot keep the real flowers, at least by keeping artificial ones, you can fulfill your desire of keeping flowers. Have a flowery day.

I would like to have that in my house rather than in my office. The office keepers have their own flower pots to keep in office, which they water them, once in a week. They dont flower much, but attract more dust. The one I prefer is a flower pot in my house, because, you can always water it whenever you feel, make flowers. It will look really good for a house.

Very true b4balaji, our house vase can be decorated as per our likings. Whatever flower you want to keep, you can keep and decorate. Since it is under your care, you will get a satisfaction too by taking care of it.
