It has been so busy in the supermarket car park that is was difficult to find anywhere to park. The supermarket was ever so busy that there were long lines from each check out. Is your local supermarket more busy than normal? Have you done all your food shopping for Christmas? Could you buy all you wished to get for Christmas?

In our place also its getting crazy here. All the places are busy. Other than the Christmas is getting close, we are getting crazy weather from tonight; so everyone wants to finish their shopping by today itself. Hope you got done with your grocery and other shopping. Have a great Christmas!

The stores around here are loaded as well. We have a big snow storm and warnings out from Thursday until Saturday. SO the last minute shoppers are all doing their shopping a day or two early. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I went this afternoon to get a few things that I forgot yesterday when I went. Very careless. And there was a BIG difference in just that 24 hour period. This afternoon the craziness has started. Even the lines for 20 items or less were kind of long. I'm so glad I don't have to go out again. Maybe it will be safe after New Year's.

Yes, yes, yes.... I went shopping this morning at a local large supermarket. The car park was full. So I did my usual trick, and that is to drive around and around until I see a car leaving. Another ten cars were doing the same. It gets to be a bit of a fiasco. I have not quite finished my food shopping, but have all presents.

At this time the supermarket is very busy, i had to wait for a long time, and many customers were busy with choosing their goods. It was not easy to get more space to select your goods.

i am chinese,i have saw the same scene as you last year at the time before chinese new year. the supermarket was crowned of a great of people, everybody carried a big hand truck and picked out food, fruit, clothing and so on, like all the goods were for free. every check out was crowned of long lines, you have to wait about half of hour to payment.

Agree on this observation. I've been in the mall yesterday and saw the long lines not just inside the department store but also the supermarket (it is adjacent to the department store). I wish I could buy some for myself but I got overwhelmed by a lot of people, it somehow gets you to think "where did all come from?"

I just retruned recently from Best Buy to get some things for my Wii system and they were a zoo. Wall to wall people shopping as a huge storm is due here Thursday that is to last till Saturday. We have already celebrated Christmas at my house due to my daughter and her family being out of town next weekend.

It's Christmas time again, and just like last Year, the Shopping centre of Enniskillen is getting hammered again with the cross border traffic from the Irish Republic taking advantage of our lower VAT rate in the North, and the exchange rate of the € against the £..I've been taking advantage off the 24 hour opening to stock up on my food shopping at night, and online shopping to finish my Chrimbo shopping..It'll get quieter once the VAT rate goes back up on January 1st and the sales are over!

Hello Maximax, You are right Supermarket and department stores are extremely busy these days. People are every where doing their Christmas shopping buying gifts and food for Christmas. Here in our area, there are long lines in all the check out counter. The gift wrapping section of some stores have long lines also. With me, I am not finish with my Christmas shopping because I still have work. I will just do the rest of the shopping tomorrow early morning. the stores will open at 7am. So, the stores are not full yet by that time.

I went shopping both Saturday and yesterday and my Walmart was empty. I did not have to wait on line and it was a joy to shop. You didn't have alot of people going crazy running around bumping into each other at all.

I know we were at the grocery store yesterday picking up some things for our big Christmas Eve dinner and Walmart was completely packed. And the worse thing is we just got 2 feet of snow so all the parking lots are covered in snow and so no matter where you went things weren't going to be easy. A 5 minute trip for me to get from Walmart to our main highway took me over an hour because so many people were out and roads were only halfway paved. The funniest thing to me though was our Walmart was completely out of chocolate chip cookie mix.

It's always really busy in the run up towards Christmas. I always see the car parks and supermarkets very busy during this time of year as people are getting the Christmas shop in.
