Have You Finished Holiday Shopping? If So, How Are You Handling the Holidays?

At the moment, there are no small children in my family so it's not quite the same w/working or retired adults. The roommate has kids but since I'm not allowed to be around them (seems they can't respect a house), they are not on my list. Just plan on getting small presents for the fam since no one needs anything. The roommate I'm still deciding on because he's been really stank and evil since he quit his job with no prospects and has less money than ever. Long story. I plan to cook on Friday but have not planned the meal. Other than buying food tomorrow and getting a few gift cards, the only thing I need to do is finish a marketing assignment - at the mall. It's a 2-parter that started early December and I needed to finish today but I could not find parking without waiting in line and being directed by a traffic(rent-a-)cop. After that is over, I just want to relax until Jan. 4, when I go back to work.

Hi jswindlel10! I don't shop for Christmas like I used to. I wish I could because I always enjoyed it before. I always did my Christmas shopping early in order to avoid the last minute rush. My family has just gotten so big and I'm living on SSI now so I can't afford it. My family understands my situation because they are helping me out as well. I don't blame you for wanting to relax until January the 4th when Christmas is over! It can wear you out. I hope you have a Merry Christmas! Kathy.
