Viva Las Vegas

Hi guys!!!
I will be driving to Vegas on the 29th and we'll be driving back on the 1st.
I've never been to Vegas before...I'm going with my sister and my dad. I know my dad will want to gamble a lot, but I'm not interested in that. I want to walk around and 'see the sites.'
It's about a 4 or 5 hour drive for us--we'll be leaving around 5am...I'm going to have to take a car sickness pill...lol. Hope I'm not drugged up when we get there!!
Any Vegas tips?

Have fun, but always leave enough $ to get back home in the hotel safe.

I carry my debit card with me everywhere, and I check my account to make sure I have money in it regularly. My dad put money into the hotel we are staying at, so I don't think we are paying for our room or anything, so it's nice saving money on that! :)

I think that it will be really exciting for you to visit Las Vegas. I haven't yet been to Las Vegas but I have heard that it is a really exciting destination. It is lucky it is less that a five hour journey from there you live. I have been to California to Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco.

Well I get car sick..i never throw up but I get headaches and stomach aches...so it's not pleasant for anyone lol. Having the windows open helps a little bit, but it can only do so much.
I've heard it is really fun there too, so I'm looking forward to it! :)

I think there is going to be a Phantom of the Opera stage show while we are there, which I would LOVE to see--but I'm not sure we'll get to that! :/
It's good that the buffets are cheap because I'm a picky eater! lol
