what will cars in five years be like?

can you imagine what cars will be like in five years? very near future.
In my city, cars are growing at surging speed. While in Japan and UK, some electric cars are already on roads now. I guess in five years, cars in my country won't rely so heavily on petrol as they do today. And the passion for buying a car will cool off a little than today.

Well i think in near future cars will be flying and there will be less traffic on road.
this is my imagination and i think like this and i think even many think like this and this will happen one day , as cars and buses lead to traffic jam so flying cars are no far away and i think when there will be flying cars then there will be traffic jam in the air..lol and i then toll tax center will be also in the sky . and it will result in traffic jam in air then on road.lol , what you say about my imagination?

I am waiting to see if cars will fly. I think that will be great to see.

It's very tempting to expect cars will fly in the next five years. Because that's what we see in the movies. If you have watched the movie "Minority Report", you can see a futuristic scene where cars move vertically on walls and flying. That's in the movies. And if that will happen in the future, that's pretty exciting. But for me, I guess, cars will not fly in the next five years. Maybe it will fly in the next 10 or 20 years, not next 5 years. In my opinion, the more possible thing to happen in the next 5 years is the elimination of petrol dependent cars (due to dwindling oil supply), and the production of energy saving cars like electric cars. No more than that. As I watch BBC World News in TV, I see the efforts, the trend of creating cars that run on alternative fuels. I think the next 5 years will be focused on that, and not on creating flying cars...

Well in coming near future the cars are speedy luxury and drive road like a jet plane...
