I saw a bald eagle yesterday!

Yes I did and I was in shock! I never have seen a bald eagle in the area where I live before! I never have seen a bald eagle in the wild either until yesterday! They aren't to common in the state I live in! I will never forget this! They are such beautiful animals! I hope I can see it again! I just love bald eagles!

there are bald eagles who winter up on Lake Buchanan, and one year my dad took me and my sister up there for a boat ride - I saw the eagles and the "source" of lake - where the water becomes too shallow to take the boat any further - and some water falls that were really cool

My youngest niece and her dad,my older brother saw a bald eagle over the summer in way northern Wisconsin by my sister's boyfriend cabin. They saw it grab a fish out of the lake and eat it on ther near by island! An experience they will never forget and wish I can see someday!

wow - seeing rare birds of prey can be quite exciting. i've seen a golden eagle once and they were very ususual in that area - was actually thrilling and i am not all that interested in birds.

I have seen red tail hawks alot but this was a first for the bald eagle! I hope I see it again!
