What is the thing that aggrivates you most at Christmas?

Christmas does tend to bring out the best in people. Usually. Let's be honest though. Christmas is also the most irritating time of the year. People push and shove. Traffic is worse than ever. Not to mention all us parents buying gifts we cant afford. What really annoys me is the LINES! Then you have people that bring there entire family with them to hold their places in line while they shop. I cant tell how many arguments Ive gotten into for this. Let's face it CHristmas is very commercial. Regardless if your kid is a brat all year, maybe he shouldnt get a WII this year. When I was young you better believe we had to be good. We had calendars that my mom started January first. "Santa calendars" My mom said santa left them so she could help him keep track of our behavior since there were so many children. We behaved. Now a days it doesnt matter. That is the thing that aggrivates me the most. People who dont understand that children shouldnt be rewarded for bad behavior. Christmas has become about gifts. That's not what Christmas is all about! If you are going to go that route you should at least make the gift a reward to a good child. If I here the words "I want" One more I am going to scream! No matter what your take on Christmas is, NO person being disrespectful, rude, mean, etc. should be included. What bothers you around this time of year? dl

That is the best one! I HATE that! I hate it on a normal day. Now on Christmas you'd have to be stupid to bring children to wait in lines while buying presents. Kind of defeats the whole purpose doesnt it. Im an not saying that I am the greatest parent in the world. However, it seems that the only people that bring their children are the ones who cant control them. So not only are they obnoxious to their parents but to everyone else who didnt bring their children as well. I get so mad sometimes that I tell the parent look he's pushing me and my carriage can you take him over there. If it keeps up I'll tell them look dont make everyone else suffer because you cant parent. Do you know how many times I've been thanked by others that were too shy to say anything? Millions. lol Dl

Waiting stinks when it isnt Christmas. The fact that it happens to be Christmas makes it worse. I dont like waiting. Im the type that is early never late. If you say 5:00 Im ready at 4:55. I totally know where your coming from. Then being away from home so you cant relax like if your were at home. Thank heavens its over for another year. Happy MyLotting. dl

The thing that agrivates me the most at Christmas is the crazy family politics. My parents are divorced, and both sides of the family are very different. Then add my husband's family into it, and you've got three ex-wifes, and a whole mess of kids, all with their own ideas. Adult kids, all over the place! So this year we decided to skip it, and we went to Toronto. :)

Family politics OMG! I think every family has them. We used to have to go to my moms parents on christmas eve and Dads family of christmas day. I hated the fights that would go on about who's not talking to who. Mom would have to tell dad what and what not to say. My cousins used to be so mean to me and my sisters because are parents were good to us. There parents werent as nice to them. Not our fault. We never had a good relationship them not even now. That's why I choose to stay home. I love it. If it gets bad at your family's house, put your foot down. why should you have to be put through the ringer for issues that arent yours. Skipping it is the best thing to do. I did it and it was the best holiday ever. dl

I hate lines too. I hate to fall in long lines for long hours. I hate feeling tired and having regrets to coming out of the house during Christmas rush. Lessoned learned, we should all buy things for christmas in advance. We should prepare for Christmas at the month of September the soonest, but the problem is the money, we don't have money during that month. I don't like many children too, like they are causing traffic whenever I was in the mall buying gifts. I don't like too much noise I get irritated easily. I am a boring person, I want a quiet resting place.

I think that a word that best describes Christmas is Busy, Loud, Annoying. Annoying suits it best. Its not like it used to be. Now everybody is rude and pushes. The lines are outrageous. Then when its over we're in debt for another year. You are not boring. You just like things simple and quiet. That is what christmas should be. I would rather celebrate your way than the hustle and bustle causing stress that I dont need. Keep the faith. When all is said and done you'll be the only one with any type of sanity or cash. LOL Happy MyLotting dl

muzak in stores. bad kids who deserve nothing. bad adults who deserve even less. commercials, crowds and traffic. and people who wish for large amounts of snow on the 25th when they aren't the ones who have to shovel it.

A woman after my own heart. Everything stinks about it! I Hate the music beginning the day afte Halloween so by the time Christmas does come you have NO christmas spirit whatsoever. Thats because people over do it. As far as snow goes, I want to see the people who wish for it when they Have NO choice but to shovel. They'll change their tune.dl

dloveli people shoving you in the ba ck, banging their carts on your legs, growling at you, hitting you with their elbows , looking at you with sour faces in this time of supposed peace on earth good will to man. Trying to grab the garment you were looking at at the same time you started to pick it up, sour faced clerks who do not take time to do the math right and over charge you. children whining and dodging between people and banging into you and not even apologizing or saying sorry. I hate Christmas shopping any more as its so hectic. clerks who are rude when you ask where something is, on and on goes the list.

People try to say Holidays bring out good cheer. I disagree. I think it brings out the worst in people. The minute I enter a store I can feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I hate anything about Christmas shopping. I hate getting hit in the back of the ankles with a shopping cart when people arent paying attention. I feel like hitting them back. I sometimes end up looking at people who are pushing and say EXCUSE YOU! If I get really mad I add the word A$$hole. lol Try it it works. dl
