Christmas was great here, up in the Cordillera Highlands of northern Philippines. Not so great though further down south Philippines, where the perfectly beautiful Mayon volcano is rumbling and spewing ash. Oh well.

I had a good Christmas
the kids got lots of good stuff and they were very happy
I got some stuff too but the kids' happiness means more to me than anything I could have got

Yeah, I guess me throwing that line with the question at the bottom made this a legitimate discussion.
Christmas was nice and peaceful here, it's just me and missybear and she had to work.
So, I made a nice dinner and we opened our presents when she got home.
She did take New Years day off though, so New Years Eve is going to be a whole different story.
Hope you and yours have a great New Years!

There is nothing wrong with greeting your cyberbuddies a Merry Christmas as indeed today all Christians all over the world commemorate the birth of our Emmanuel. And absolutely alright! Why?is greeting against mylot policy?
Deleting the posting: i am not new to that, i have several post which was not published and the less motivation i had when i wrote my post just recently and was deleted at all without prior warning.
my motivation to post as a bit lessened. Do you feel the same?

You know I have that very sign on my Computer room door..and it so far hasn't stopped anyone from entering..just like it didn't on your discussion..lol
Christmas Day for us was almost like any other day..we just had turkey instead of chicken and we ate to much..alot of my family is out of state so was just me,hubby and my parents and little sister, now I think I can sleep for a week..

Merry Christmas Sconibear!
I don't get it. Why would this get deleted? this is a legit discussion...right? Anyway, I had a beautiful Christmas. Spent Christmas eve with all my girls, partying and having a good time. Spent the night together and on Xmas morning we got up and watched all the little ones open gifts and then had breakfast together. It was simple and nice. How about you? Did you have a great one?

I don't mind a little risk, so if I lose a penny, so be it!
I know myLot's policy on duplicate discussion, but I think that for special occasions they should be a little more lax. After all, they're only going to last a day or two, so what's the big deal? People are just trying to share the good cheer around the holidays, and I don't care what holiday it happens to be. Christmas, Valentine's, Easter, Kwanza, Hanukkah, all of them are special and I think that as long as the discussions are not exact duplicates it should stay.
So, if it's deleted I won't miss the penny. Merry Christmas to you, and Happy Holidays to everyone, no matter what you celebrate this time of year. If you don't celebrate anything, then Happy New Year since it'll be a new year wherever you are and just have a good time no matter what you're doing.
