what new skill would you like to learn?

i would like to learn how to play the guitar.now i can't play any instruments.so this would be a new skill for me.it would be a good skill to have because i could take my guitar to parties and play music for my friends.may be i join a band and play songs with other musicians.it ia only mydream anyway.but mai reason is i enjoy music and want to get it beter.haha... this time not my first time tended to learn guitar.....so what mew skill would you like to learn?...and why?maybe you can explain your reasons? good luck.....

I would like to learn dancing. You know what, I have been a lazy lazy guy because I want to learn dancing since the age of 15 and today I am 27, still haven't tried to learn this skill. I know that whenever I listen to music, my body wants me to dance but since I don't know the steps, I can't...
Ah, when would I start dancing!

I would like to learn:
1. how to bake and be a great cook
2. play the piano and drums
3. speak and read French,German,Italian,Spanish,Japanese,and Chinese
4. handle finances and manage a business well

hi there, i also tend to learn playing some instruments, what i like most is piano, i had this idea since i was a child, but when i was young, i did not tell my idea to my parents, so they did not know i like piano since now, but i am so glad whenever i saw someone playing piano so elegantly. i am a little busy with my work now, i would learn to play the piano when i am free.

There is so much that I want to learn in life. Many times I find myself needing to focus and prioritize. As I start my student teaching in January, my first goal is to learn how to successfully teach 7th and 8th grade students. As an instructional assistant, I am used to helping students learn and teaching; however, I have primarily worked with K-3 grade students. I have worked a little with 4-6th graders, but most of my time was been working with younger students.
My next goal is to learn how to make some decent money online. I need the extra cash especially with taking a leave of absence for student teaching.
Personally, I would love to develop my social skills. Growing up being homeschooled it is like I never fully learned how to socialize and interact with others. It is one aspect of my life where I find myself feeling awkward. It is like I do not always know how to act or what to say. I am much better at written communication that interacting with people. Guess that is why I love these social communities like Mylot!

i hsve always been a fan of martial arts and martial artists. i wish to learn at least the basics of one martial arts sports. like the arnis. arnis is a way of defending self by using one or two sticks. this actually originated in the Philippines. now it is known to many countries. i hope to find someone who can show and teach me some ways of doing the basics. how to at least defend myself.

The skill of self-defense and martial arts is a very useful life skill. I learned martial arts in my teens. I actually got my black belt in karate. I learned both self defense moves; in addition, learning how to use a bow and numchucks. I have to say that the self defense moves are way easier to learn and more applicable if you ever get into a situation. You may not have a special martial arts weapon handy after all.
I do think that learning self defense makes you much more aware of your surroundings. There is a whole different thought process that you have after learning self-defense. There is only being about one instance when I've actually used what I learned in real life. One day I came out of target and some teenager or young person hit my shoulder in an attempt to grab my purse. It was interesting because I had stopped taking martial arts like 5 - 7 years prior but I did not even have to think what to do I just reacted. Screaming at the top of my lungs as the teenage went running past. My purse was off my shoulder as I spun around to check to see if there where any friends with the attacker. It was just one of those moments where you realize that if it came down to it you do know how to defend yourself and will not be intimidated by an attacker.

I would like to learn how to play chess and poker, OYGAK2005. I have seen many people play these games and they are so good at it. I would like to learn how to play these games. It takes so much concentration with the chess game. This would be a skill that I would like to learn someday.

Hi. I'm a very lazy person but I would like to learn so manya things. I would love to learn to swim properly without flopping and floating; I would love to drive properly but cannot reverse or park, I would love to draw properly but my niece says my dogs look more like elephants and vice versa. I would love to tango and do those lovely Latin american dances. some of what I like to do are essentials and some simply gives me joy. So why don't I do it? I really dont know...

I have started a few new hobbies in the last few months. I have started playing the guitar - although I'm not very good at it. I can play a few kids' songs... I have also started knitting. I finished knitting a scarf. It is addictive - knitting!
I am also thinking of starting to paint. I have been thinking about doing some big abstracts - and I have got a few sketches done already. So, what I need now are some canvases, paints and time!

There are many skills i want to learn.But the most is play the piano.I used to learn the piano when i was a child, but when i go to high school, the study is too busy so i give up practicing piano.Now, i only remember a little of how to play piano, I want to review it again.
Life for me is too simple and dull now,every day get up and go to work, than go home...day by day, year by year...I want my life brilliant,wonderful,so i want to learn piano again..:)

Yes, as always I would like to learn driving a 2-wheeler and a 4-wheeler and swimming since I have not taken time out for learning these things. I always spend time enjoying and mostly using internet and being online but it would be really nice if I am able to learn these new skills quickly!!

I'm looking forward to spending more time at my knitting. I'd like to find a knitting circle that I can go to that's not at night, maybe during the day. I'd like to make socks now that I can make sweaters, blankets and shawls. I'd like to learn how to make purses and a tam, scarf and mits for myself. I gave my girlfriend some yarn about two years ago and haven't seen my tam, scarf or mits since.

Actually, it i not a new skill but i want to improve my piano skills. THe first time i took piano course was when i was 11 years old,but it was like on and off.I got bored playing classic all the tim, then 2 years ago i started taking piano lesson for band. So we have private class first, then we join with the other players. My piano teacher is THE BEST. He is a professional musician, a Brklee-graduate and he always encourages us to improve. THe first meeting was he told me to play any songs then when he spotted mistakes,he corrected it..he showed me how to play, then he told me to play.He is strict but he is fun..unfortunately i decided to quit not bcause of him, but because some members don`t appreciate that everyhting needs a process..There was a concert and maybe i didn`t show my best whatsoever then everyone blames me and my teacher..I really want to take course with him again, but i am not that interested in joining with the band again. At least i can play the piano and accompnay other people sing..he is really open, saying that i can take course anytime i want.Now, i still try to learn playing some good songs like"Heaven"Bryan Adams, or "Hello"Lionel Richie and other great pop songs.

I want to learn how to perform a real magic just like Cyril and David Blaine. It's a nice skill, isn't it? Imagine if you can make people happy by showing an unbelievable skill. It's very interesting skill to learn for me.
