Do your children or child suffer from this? My daughter had this and it's hard to deal with. She is taking concerta right now 27 mg's. it has helped her to do better in school. She is also taking 2mg's of abilify which is helping also. I know many of us moms who don't want to medicate our kids. I was one of them as well. Now I see just how easy it is for her to be a happier person.

Yes, I was very hestitant to put my son on meds for fear of being addicted at such a young age. We are still finding a meds that will work and work all day so its still a process for us. Right now he does well on 30 mg of Vyanse but it just doesn't last all day---let me tell you we know when it wears off. I'm glad it is working for your daughter.

Oh, I so know what you mean about knowing when it wears off. I know within a few hours in the day if he has forgotten to take it too. Wild child!

My son was on 3 different medications before we found one that worked well for him. Concerta was the first one we tried and it did him really no good at all, so they upped the dose and that made him act worse than ever. He is on Vyvanse and has been for about 2 years now. It is working well for him.
