Favorite way to have turkey leftovers

So I made a 24 pound turkey for Christmas only to have a blizzard hit and nobody could make it to our house to eat. There are only 3 of us here so we have quite a bit of turkey leftover which is fine with me, I love to make things with turkey. My favorite thing to do with it is to have it on a sandwich with swiss cheese and mayo. I will most likely make turkey salad too and there will be some type of casserole in the next few days. What is your favorite way to use leftover turkey?

Woah, that is one big turkey! Other than turkey sandwiches & turkey salad, my most favourite dish is turkey pot pie. They are delicious and freeze well for future use, so I like to make quite a few at a time.

LOL yep it was a very big turkey but it's all gone now!!! And I have to say I didn't even think about turkey pot pies!!!!! That is one of my favorite dishes ever!!! Now I just might have to go buy another turkey and make some!!!!

Good time to buy turkey, it is usually on sale this time of year! Another great dish (chicken and dumplings) works just as well with turkey too! Hope dieting isn't one of your New Year's resolutions

I love Turkey sandwiches! I like to just put the turkey on wheat bread with lots of mayo and jalapenos! And it is also good with slices of cucumbers as well yummy!

OHHHH Jalapenos!!!! Now that's a great idea!!! and I just bought a fresh loaf of honey wheat bread for my turkey sandwich later! It's really sad that I'm so excited about it LOL

I love the turkey sandwiches too, I am happy with just the turkey, some mayonaise and the bread it tastes so good. I also like turkey and gravy over biscuits. This year I heated up some turkey with some salsa and made turkey tacos with it. It was really good and a different way to use the turkey up. I also made some soup and put it in there and mixed some in to some fried rice. So we ate left overs in lots of different ways this year.

OH turkey taco's is such a great idea!!!! I just ground up the last bit of turkey I had and made it into turkey salad which I love on toasted wheat bread with pickles, mayo and crushed potato chips!!!

That is a huge turkey! I think our Turkey was very huge as well for Thanksgiving. I am not as original as you are as usually Turkey leftovers are just used on a sandwich, or we just have the same dinner with the rest of the fixings we have from the original day! Well I hope you have fun eating your turkey, sorry no one could make it because of the blizzard, but hey, it's more for ya'll to eat!
