Ways to Relieve Stress
December 27, 2009 9:30pm CST
Life is stressful to begin with and thankfully the Internet is around so I can find an outlet to relieve my stress. For me I love either jumping onto Facebook and chatting with my friends or going on a game site like Club Pogo and putting all my attention into that. Are there any specific websites you go to? Or is mylot that haven for you?

Now, I can say that internet is my outlet to relieve stress. I like mylot, I can share my problems to other people here and they are responding. I also like playing games but after I had done these things still the problem is not solved and it keeps getting back. It just help when you want to forget something.

Whenever I feel stressed out, I just go to my room to rest and I try not to think about anything to calm myself. Going to the spa for a massage or watching a feel-good movie or a DVD movie at home also helps. Recently, I found out that cooking is like a therapy for me, as well as eating sweets, especially chocolates! ^_^ But more often, I just talk about things with my fiancee. I don't want to bottle up negative stuff in me and I'm happy and thankful that I have someone whom I trust and whom I confide anything, who just listens and understands. ^_^

it seems we get stressed when we run out of time ... Younger, I would ask the team for a task so difficult that they'd say "Ok, you have all the time you need..." That way I don't get stressed and I accept tasks only that I am sure they will acknowledge as undoable any other way... I also made sure the talent I was to use was rare enough so apparently I accomplished something "impossible" That worked for a few decades ... as soon as real stress comes up recently, I could only meditate more often ... in the words of Dale Carnegie "what's the worst that can happen if I fail here or there?" suddenly I can put things into better perspective and focus on creativity on getting things done ... Perhaps mylot blogging helps us unload our thoughts and then reprogram it back in :) (our mind) so we're able to sharpen our critical factor, giving us an improved performance in conscious thinking ... But then again perhaps I just need a cup of strong coffee :) Cheers
