What works best for you to loose weight?

I have to really discipline myself to start losing weight. I feel like I am gaining pounds again due to christmas goodies I have been eating this month. Girls, do you refrain from eating or if exercise, what kind of exercise do you do? I eat oatmeal, but effect is that it makes my stomach bloat. What do you take? Do you take xenical or slimming tea, may I ask your style of losing weight?

When I wanted to lose some weight, I went on a 5 day high fiber diet with a kit that I bought. I lost about 5 pounds from it and I was able to maintain my weight. I remember I use to try to lose weight and when I would lose a few pounds, I would just end up gaining it back again. I noticed that after I tried the kit, I started craving healthier food and not so much of those bad greasy foods like french fries, which I absolutely love. That's my favorite style of losing weight.

hey friend my weight has never increased.for the past five years there is no change in my weight.i am bit thin.so to increase my weight, i tried in many ways in friend.ate lot of milk products,pulses,egg,non-veg items but still no improvement in weight.when i consulted my doctor she said that my body nature is like this and even if i put weight i will look like same as now only. but to lose weight very simple exercise is in early morning and in evening go for walking,in one month you weight will reduce. have a nice day :)

I tried it my friend but it was of no use. I got a sudden increase in my weight by 8kg. I don't know how but I hate this change. I'm not able to reduce it. A friend of mine asked me to take a glass of lemon juice without salt or sugar in empty stomach, that it'll surely help in reducing the weight my friend. I'm waiting for that to be done my friend.

How do you exercise lowloy? Do you go to the gym, do you have your own sets of equipment at home or do you just jog around your neighborhood. Eve jogging I am lazy to do.

i have to be really careful on what i eat right now because i am having thyroid issues and i have to eat (because i feel shakey if i dont [my blood sugar is fine, its thyroid related]) but with a low thyroid you can gain weight so easily so i have been cutting back on sweets. here in canada, companies have to put the calories on the packaging of the food items so its easy to figure out what has how many.

I really donn't check on the number of calories of the food I eat. I just eat and eat. As I said I really have to discipline myself in losing weight.

Firstly, I try to keep the food intake under control. Secondly, I make sure that I do physical exercises regularly. One of my favorite ways is jogging along the park whenever the weather is permitting. I thing jogging is excellent to keep the weight under control and keep the body healthy. I have been doing the daily jogging for over five years now.

I'm not currently dieting, but the last time I did I had pretty good success. I lost 30 lbs in about 6 months. Yeah, it's slow, but when you lose weight slower it tends to stay off. Fast weight loss tends to come back once you stop dieting. My method was actually quite simple. First of all, I used the website Sparkpeople.com to track my caloric/fat/etc intake as well as calories and fat burned via exercise. I weighed out my meat portions, limiting them to 3-4 ounces. I also made sure that I only got 2 portions of red meat per week, and went mostly with chicken, fish and shellfish. I added more fresh vegetables to my diet. I also switched simple things like regular mayo became fat free mayo, salad dressing became light or fat free, etc. Then I took the dog for a 15-20 minute walk a few times a week. That was it. When it comes to weight loss, remember one simple fact. If with your current diet and exercise you don't lose or gain any weight, lowering your fat/calorie intake OR increasing your excercise level will make you lose weight. Doing both will make you lose more weight.
