yesterday I have received an e-mail from my ex boyfriend, and he's inviting me to attend his wedding this coming feb., I replied immediately i said I can't afford the travel costs, but the truth is I just don't like to attend his wedding,And now I just got an e-mail from him saying he would shoulder the expenses.what should I do? make sincere apology?or just tell him the truth that i don't like to attend the wedding?

This situation is too awkward. What will other people say who knew your past if they saw you in the wedding? There are things in life that are better unsaid and undone, and your situation really fit in.
Just tell him you dont feel like going. Make him understand your reason, it wont be easy but its worth a try. Goodluck!

I guess you are right, It won't be good if his wife to be found out that he invited me over to attend their wedding, its gonna be a hell day for them, and I don't want to crash their wedding day. so ill take your advice. thanks a lot.

Unless of course you've parted ways as friends, and that your friendship has survived your break up, then I think you should attend.
If not, then he is being insensitive, and you have every right to say no. If he couldn't understand why you're declining it, then he is not mature enough to understand.

yes,we've been friends after break up, but i don't feel like attending the wedding. thanks, Yes i have every right to say no if I don't want to.
