Some will say it was the "death panels", others will say it was the stimulus would be a one time event. Think back folks and say what you think... don't be shy, eh?

That Obama was a change from Bush. Well, I knew it was a lie but apparently better than half the countrt bought in to it. another one would be that he wasn't going to apoint lobbyists. Or that he wouldn't sign a defense bill loaded with pork. The biggest lie of all though is the same lie that people fall for every election. That voting for one of the same two parties we have been electing for the last hundred years is somehow "change". I can probably come up with a bunch more so I will be back to this discusions.

Wow, I'm surprised you didn't include what I considered the biggest political lie of 2009. I really though for sure you'd beat me to it. "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

With Obama and his leftist democrats ruling Washington, it is really hard to narrow in on the biggest lie and hoax, but I will try. The biggest must be Obama himself. From his birth certificate to his dealings on a global market, with every moment in between filled with a lie, Obama is a hoax - the king of hoax and chains. Close runner-ups are these: the healthcare scam - the lie that giving governmnet control of healthcare will in anyway make things better the globalwarming scam - the lie that man-made CO2 emissions are in someway causing global warming and that the earth is doomed if we do not do something. the stimulus spending scam - the lie that the economy was in such bad shape, that the tax payers had to bail them out. Rather it was a way to fund every leftist program that socialist obama wants to put into place. the hoax that Obama's leftist programs are what the majority of Americans want. Face it, Obama is a loser - quite incapable.

The biggest political lie was this one by president Obama. "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

It is Obama's saying he won't approve earmarks(which he has done over and over) and won't raise taxes on those who make under $250,000; although with the second one he did say "make" which mean retirees on pensions and social security are fair game no matter what their "incomes" are.

There are almost too many to choose from, not the least of which was Obama's promise to bring unparalleled transparency to Washington. But after sifting through all the broken promises and outright lies, I think this one sums it up best. A year's worth of failed policies, increased secrecy, an economy that went from bad to worse and generally ignoring the wishes of the American people makes this the greatest hoax/lie of 2009: "YES, WE CAN"! Barack Obama

The biggest political hoax was the day Obama walked into the White House.

The Statement by the President that if elected he would post all bills on the Internet so that people could review them before he signed them. Bills are being passed and we are told that the details will be filled in later. This is something that he alone can do and does not need the approval of others.
