Hai, Happy New Year to all of you. My daughter has given me new dress and one beautiful crystal glass beed necklace for New Year. Tomorrow I am going to wear it. Have you purchased or been gifted with new dress for you and your family? Are you going to greet the New Year with new dress and new jewellary? If so what type of dress and jewellery they are?

Hi aunty, Wishing you and your Family members a belated Happy New Year. Every year i used to buy the new dresses for everyone in my family. But this time i couldn't shop for anyone as i was busy. In fact everyone in the home had a new dress to wear this year also. Have a great day.

I did not purchase any new dress for the New Year as we do not celebrate it in a grand scale. It is just like any other day in a week.

I do not like to wear dresses myself as I am still such a tom girl. My daughter likes to wear them though. We did not buy any new clothes for New Years though. I stayed home but my daughter went to a church function.

Happy New Year, Buchi_bulla. It is so nice of your daughter to have bought you nice gifts to wear for the new year. Our custom to wear new clothes is when our traditional Spring Festival comes in the lunar month of January. It won't be long before we have it. Before the arrival of the Festival, we will start to buy new clothes and a lot of food for it. Enjoy yourself, friend.

I am very very happy to read your response. You bought so many items to your mom, grandpa and grandma and all useful things which they will use regularly. I am also happy to know that you got pajamas from your mother. This is like you are getting her blessings in the form of pajamas for the coming year. Happy New Year to you, your proud mom, grandpa and grandma.
