Were You Awake To Ring In the New Year?

LOL, I wanted to be up right when the clock struck midnight to ring in the new year of 2010, but I was too tired. I wouldn't of been happy anyway so I just went to sleep. I waked up 2 hours after it was officially 2010. Most people at least planed to be awake and I did to but unfortunately I was not up. Happy 2010 anyway.

I was wide awake and having a blast. I spent most of the night playing Apples to Apples and Beatles Rock Band with some friends from the local theater group. I LOVE ringing in the new year with the people I love. My big, crazy, extended family. =D

your one of the 75% i saw in a poll who planed on staying awake for new years eve. i figure a good calculated guess would be only in the 60% range actually stayed up.

I have cold, so I missed my party I paid for and i was asleep at 10 PM, I don't feel sorry for, because I want to be healthy in 2010... Happy New Year!

thats good you went to sleep despite not being up to ring in the new year. your started your resolution before 2010 even started.

After repeatedly falling asleep on the couch I finally gave up and climbed into bed around 11:30. I was really sick and spent New Years Eve miserable and in pain so making it to midnight kind of stopped being a priority!

Too bad you were exhausted. But that's better than keeping awake for the merriment while the body gives way. I am not a night owl but I managed to welcome the new year with revelry by gossiping with my sister and cousins. Gosh, we talked about show biz indiscretions, arrogant neighbors, health concerns, food, and everything under the sun. We sort of updated our blood relations which sort of dripped off through the years. Now we're clannish again, I think.
