Do you have a full time maid or you do your stuff yourself?

Before I had my baby last year, I used to go to the office and also do my home stuff myself. I used have maid ywho used to come daily just to do the cleaning and dusting. I was well managing my work being working and pregnant as well.
After I had my baby, I kept a full time maid who does the entire work for me. She is really nice and take good care of my baby. I have become so much dependant on her. I dont know as how will I manage my work without her.
what's the case with you? Are you doing your work yourself? how's your maid?

I'd love a maid, but would never be able to afford the rates that companies charge! I don't really like the idea of someone wandering about my house, looking at my things either. Anyway, I work from home, so there's no real need for me to have a maid since I can easily do all the cleaning for myself.
I also have really high standards for cleaning, I'd end up doing it after the maid anyway, even if s/he had done a perfect job!

its good that you do your stuff yourself. it keeps to satisfied as you get best cleaning only when you do it yourself. you also tend to stay in good shape by being active. i also used to do my work myself even when i was pregnant. i only kept her only coz I was in great need of her and I could have not joined back office if no one would have been there with me to help me.

2 yrs since we have had a full time maid but she got married and we got another but a part time one. sometimes I prefer doing some work myself while the maid does it always. She is good and caring too.
But these days maids are very rarely found in our place and so their demands have increased too.

Its the same case here in our city of residence. Maids are not found frequently. Due to scarcity, people around try to take her for their home. But she is not greedy and doesnt want to leave us. That is what I like in her and want her to stay with us even after her mariiage. I have told her to stay with her husband at our place and continue working. Lets see if this is possible or not.
