Just came back from the beach

My boyfriend and I went to the beach yesterday and stayed there overnight. We went swimming and we also met up with some of our friends. They were there to surf. It was great to have been able to unwind as we both have to go back to work on the 4th of January. I thought of going online last night but there was no wi-fi where we were.

I'm glad to hear you had a good time. It's so hard for me to picture anyone swimming in January, because in January where I live, it is so cold. The snow is starting to melt, but it's still around 30 degrees (F). Of course there isn't a beach around where I live anyway, but there are lakes. Enjoy your time off!

Hi AmbiePam! It's cold here in our city at this time of the year. But we can always drive to the countryside where it is much warmer.

Hi dolce_vita78, That must have been great to go to the beach but over here in the UK it is very cold, we have had snow here and we'll have to wait for the summer to go to the beach. Tamara

It's cold here in our city and we have to drive to the countryside for about an hour and a half to reach the beach. It's quite warmer there.

You must be someplace warm. LOL The only warm water around here for swimming is in the pool at the hotel where we stayed in Toronto. LOL That was fun.

Wow. Really? I hope to do alot more swimming at my home this year than I have in the past few years. It is wintertime here right now and the temperature has been in the teens. Very cold outside.

I'd like to go to the beach. I haven't been tehre in a very long time. I wish I could go there and stay there overnight. I think it would be pretty cool. When i get older I'm pretty sure my day on the beach will come! It's very exciting.
