Do you have a caring spouse?

As I have been laid low with chest infection for over a week, I haven't been outside the house for days. Until today. Yesterday I said to my hubby that I'd really like to get some fresh air but I didn't feel up to walking. He said let's wait and see what the weather is like tomorrow. So today we woke up to a hard frost, but then out came the sun. About mid morning he told me to wrap myself up and get in the car. Then he got in the driving seat and took me all along the coast on a slow drive with wonderful views. It made such a lovely change from the four walls I've been confined in. Aren't I lucky to have such a caring spouse?

My Hubby is wonderful that way also. Usually I have the care of him, but on the rare occasion that I am ill he steps right up and helps as needed.

That's great. Of course it should always be a two-way thing.

Hi Jakill, Firstly a Happy New Year to you and sorry to hear that you have been unwell. Yes you are indeed very lucky to hav such a caring spouse and pleased you enjoyed your littl trip out. I am a single mum so haven't anyone at home to pamper me but I am blessed with some wonderful friends and if I am poorly will pop over and help take care of me and my little one. Huggles Ellie :)

Thank you Ellie. I do remember being a single Mum too, when my children were young. And how much my network of friends were a lifeline when I was under the weather.

Wow, Jean, I'm happy to hear you're doing well now. He's so sweet. You're lucky, not everyone has a spouse who's sweet..they may love you too but they're not demonstrative. Kiss him for the joy he brought you by that simple act of loving and care. happy new year and happy myhlotting, welcome back.

Thanks Jena. Actually he still wants to kiss me despite all the germs I must be carrying. LOL.
