Which do you prefer - to start new discussion or to make response to discussion?

Hello airasheila I try to respond as much as discussion and make a discussion as well. respond discussion will increase my point and get money, make discussion is good too. I really want to stay focus in here

As far as I am concerned, I may choose the passion to start the discussion.. If I am in good mood , I wil start a new discussion which I think can be the most significant one. But when the time I am in low spirit , I will just log in mylot to make responses to discussion.

Well, I think it is much easier usually to start one, but sometimes it is hard to think of one to start. But I know the more discussions I start in a day the better I do earnings wise. Sometimes answering the amount of discussions I answer every day to make pay out at the end of the month seems to take forever. Sometimes it is easy though, it kind of depends on the discussions that are being started that day, some days are easier than others and have lots of good easy discussions and other days it's like what?

I am like most people here too. lol. I have a really hard time thinking up a new discussion that all the Mylot members would be interested in replying too. I just find it easier to reply to other people's discussions and offer some kind of help from me.

I like to response to a certain discussion.. my mind works easier responding than creating something new.. Sometimes, i do like typing immidiately than thinking what to type..

To start a new topic is easise for me because I always have lots of problems in many different kinds of field, but the problem is that I can't explain them very well in English. Sometime it is very difficult for me to make others know what I mean. Anyways, I'll try my best to do it well.

If i have something to say then I will start a discussion, but otherwise, I will look for discussions that interest me, and I will spend a great amount of time responding to them.

I don't distinguish the two categories, I just post something going on in my head. As usual I response dicussions more because I just start a new topic if I find something big enough to share. That's why I don't support the mylotters to start the similar topics in the same interest. If I see consecutive topics from the same author, I just pick up the most interresting one to reply.

i always respond to discussions first then, if something suddenly comes into my mind, i post a new one. its really hard to post a new discussion especially if you're thinking of a quality one where you can receive a lot of responses that you can respond in return. but i make sure that i do both daily.

Both are interesting. It depends on the topics actually!! I start a discussion only if i come across certain things or situation so most of the time I respond to discussions. However both are good. Its nice to start a discussion and seeing others answering you and taking interest on what you have to say.

Adding to new discussions is what I tend to do more. Most of the time, all of the discussions that I think of starting have already been started. So there is no need for a duplicate topic. I do start a topic or two when I think of something new and fresh. A lot of my posting is responding to discussions that interest me.

I prefer to respond to discussions because usually as soon as i read one i have a pretty good opinion on the matter and lots to write about. Also if i start a discussion and it becomes very popular and has lots of responses, it can be quite difficult trying to respond and comment back to everyone :)

It's not a question of which is easier. I can do either. I simply read discussions and reply if I feel one is required. I there is something I wish to discuss, I'll start one.

I find it easy to do both,but i do prefer to answer the discussions rather than start one.If there are not many things in the discussions that have been started up that i can answer,i will then start a discussion.Sometimes there are lots of discussions that i can answer where as other times there is not alot to do.

Hi Airsheila, At the moment, because I am just emerging from a hibernation period away from mylot, it is far easier for me to just prowl around the discussions already posted and find something interesting to respond to since I am just not around long enough to do all the maintenance work that comes with starting my own discussions. In the past though when I was hugely active on the site I used to love starting new discussions because they would help to advance my understanding of people and how they think. New discussions especially helped to advance my understanding of mylot itself and how I should use the site and how other people use it. I loved starting new topics for that reason and if I come back I will probably use them again to help further advance my understanding of things, but until then responding will be easiest for me. Hi airasheila: I prefer to respond a discussion basically because, when i think about the possibility of starting a new discussion i am actually a very perfectionist person, and i wish to make a good discussion and to be really inetrested on what the other persons would answer. I think you need to be very original to make a discussion that would be read but a lot of persons. On the pther hand is so much easier to look for the converstaions that you like and say what you want. Thanks for asking me this question. Hope you are having a nice day. hi...honestly i don't like response to my own discussions comments... but i prefer to start new discussions and to rsponses to otheres discussions... ....it is iteresting to responses ....

I like both and I have been doing both everyday since I joined myLot. In making a new discussion, sometimes I spend to much time in deciding/finding where to post my discussion since not all of my added interest fit-in the question/new discussion. When it comes to responding to someone's discussion, I still spend much time in finding discussions that interest me. Since posting a response to a discussion is much easier and faster I write/response more in the discussion compared to starting a new discussion.
