Do You Wash Your Feet When You Take A Bath?

I'm always in a hurry when I take a bath, especially if I'm late. I still do the common bath rituals like shampooing, washing my body, brushing my teeth.. but I skip washing my feet. It just takes too much effort and time bending over just to wash your feet. And if you're not flexible like me you wouldn't bother too. They get dripped on anyways so thats good for me. Do you always wash your feet when taking a bath?

Hi, I consciously wash my feet often. Its obvious that in all the body parts, its the feet which gets the most dirty. There is a lot of dirt accumulated in them.So i wash my legs regularly after coming home. Thanks Saya

Hmmm, pretty clean huh. Anyway, true that most of the dirt gets accumulated in legs throughout the day and care must be taken to keep them clean along with the whole body. That gives us an inner feeling of Happiness when our body is clean.

Hi Chriszh: As i say in my answer i don't wash my feet. I just put them on the water and I rub one feet with the other and there is nothing more i do when i am taking a bath but i think that you are probably right and it should be a very relaxing sensation to wash carefully my body when i have a stressful day. Thanks for your answer chriszh. Hope you are having a nice day. Happy new Year and Keep Mylotting. Take Care. -Alvaro.

Yes, I always wash my feet when I take a bath. Washing our feet regularly helps avoid skin itchiness which may lead to fungal infections.

I do wash my feet during bathing. I always start on my head with shampoo and work with soap as I go down. The last thing I do would be on my feet. So obviously its a complete bath. I think when we say bath, its involves everything. It would not be a bath if the feet is not included.

I make it a point to clean my feet carefully whenever I take bath. I use a scrub to wash my feel, but not for the other parts of the body. I always scrub my feet a long while taking shower. I feel my feet is always dirty. I walk for about 20 minutes everyday and there is a good chance for dirty to stick to my feet, that makes me concious while taking shower.

Hi...really feeling peculiar to listen that having bath and not washing the feet how could it be really each and every part of our body should be kept cleaned thoroughly washed. How much hurry if we are also once we go for bath should keep in mind to clean our body from A-Z. If your body is not flexible like u can't bend and rub your toes then make a point to keep one bath stool in the bathroom so that u can sit on that and wash your feet and its even not much time consuming you can easily wash negligence of taking care of feet might lead to some fungal infections like in between the fingers and even on the feet. Try getting a stool and keep in your mind that even feet are part of your body they too must be kept clean. Take care.....

Hmm...now that I think about it I do not or at least not very often. It seems that the only time that I do wash my feet is when I decide to take a bath. And when I do decided to take a bath and remember to wash my feet it is only because I can see them sticking out and think oh yes my feet. I will usually just end up letting the soap from showering wash down onto my feet without any real scrubbing....

Yes, I do wash my feet whenever I take a bath. I know they still get kinda sweaty after still. But I think its important to wash all parts of your body when you are bathing. If you are having problems with reaching your feet to wash then maybe you should be taking showers instead.

Hi! When taking a bath its a way of total body cleaning.Washing my feet when taking a bath is a must for me. The moist of hours wearing ones' shoes breeds germs. If i don't wash my feet it would be very uncomfortable for me.Taking a bath should be for the whole body. In that sense you'll be sure of good hygiene and free of any bacterial attack. In your case you may try a sitting position to avoid so much effort on bending over. Those drips are all but the wash over of your upper body parts so its not cleaning at all.

Ha, it will be the same for me too. I'm not always wash my feet when taking bath.. It takes me more than 15 minutes to take bath, but normally I will skip to wash my feet.. For me, I can always wash my feet on the other time when i'm free, that's not necessary for me to wash it while taking bath. You can wash your feet anyway, but you can't wash your hair or body anyway..Haha. But for sure, I will wash my feet everytime I go to bed.

This is so funny. No one really stops to thing about the routine you get into when showering. I just let the shower clean my feet. But I also use a pumice stone on my heel and trim my toenails in the shower so that is as much attention as my feet get in the shower. But I have to clarify. Showering is different from a bath. In an actual bath I do scrub my feet.

hi nocturn98 I always shower and in twenty minutes of shampooing and soaping my legs and arms with bath gel my feet get lots of soap and water on them and are always clean when I get out so I do think they are w ashed plenty, as they do not look dirty and get w ell toweled so a shower should really clean us all over without having to scrub your feet like a dirty rug for example.

I definitely can understand how things can be rushed and overlooked when there is a set amount or a small amount of time. But heck yeah, I don't feel it's #1 but I know that it is one of the grossest parts of the body. And I wear socks and tennis shoes and skate shoes 24/7 almost so my feet are super sweaty and can really get lint sticky by the end of the day. But unless I want to have bad smelling shoes and feet, i'm going to scrub, top, bottom, and in between. :-) ha ha ha

Hi nocturn: Bath rituals? I have never read something like this. Maybe it's just because this doesn't make part of my culture but I make everything that you told us except for washing my feet. I'm not sure but when i take a bath the waters wash my feet and after i am putting my clothes on i use talcs for my feet, that's enough i think. Well maybe I'll do the whole ritual net time I take a bath. Thanks for asking us this question. Hope you are having a nice day. Happy new Year and Keep Mylotting. Take Care. -Alvaro.

I like to walk around barefooted in my house quite a lot. I would have to wash my feet. I would find myself dirty if I didn't. Yes water gets on them, but wet feet does not mean clean feet.
