radiation on bra? is that possible?

dear mylotters,
a friend told me, radiations from cell phone are so harmful. they kill the birds like sparrow, insects. not only that, these radiations induce high frequency currents in metallic wires, grids, including wired bras. i wear wired bras, i feel scared now. 
am getting a habit of placing my cell phone under the strap of the bra when i don’t have a pocket on my skirt. 
what is your view? do you wear wired bra or plain or padded. please share?

hi tigeraunt,
yeah it is possible bec wired bras are metal...and since it is possible extra care is necessary to avoid radiation taking-in the body. i wear wired bra, plain and padded, since i was already informed ill gonna used the padded and plain bras now and eliminate the wired bras since i cannot avoid using cp's.

i agree with you that it is necessary to avoid radiation. and it is good you said not to use the underwired bra when using pc too.

i was almost scared. How could you your cell phone under the strap of the bra place...I wear always wired bra and also padded....i know it's not good but it's hard to change the habbit...

I am not wearing wire bras. It is hard to find bra without the wire, but for many reasons I believe know that wire is not healthy.
radiation from cell phones is very serious and it should be talking seriously.
It affects our brain function.

dear pat,
it will be difficult really. the cellphone is a necessity to me and i am not supposed to part it away from me as i get calls 24/7. the type of cellphone i have doesnt have a place for a sling hence i have to carry it by hand, or in the pocket, and if no pocket, it does well on the strap near the shoulder (there it doesnt fall because my bras are snugly fit.
but after this discussion, i guess i will have to look for someplace else which i could carry everytime.
i might need a new sling bag if that is the case just for that purpose.

I don't wear a bra but I do think the possibility is there. Radiation of wave that comes from the cell phone is dangerous and we do not really know how dangerous it can be. Phone emits a variety of ray when it is being used, that is why we are not encouraged to hang on the phone for a very long time. Somehow placing the phone under your bra might not be as dangerous as it seems but once a while, you might get a slight static shock.

Hi there,, that was scary,,, i used to wear bra with under wire... actually all my bra are wired....geee....

all my bras have underwire too, never padded. 
and it snugly fits.
but what i learned was really scary. so if you are using cellphone, am sure you have read the advises of the other mylotters.

Hi Ann it is possible my friend, it depends the density of the wire grid, that will decide the intensity of the current indued there due to the electomagnetic inductions, it is better you keep that in your purse or keep it in the bags available for this specially and hook on your belt
