I was wondering if anyone else is looking forward to the return of Jack Bauer and 24? I have watched the show from the beginning, and have never missed an episode! I know that some have grown tired of the show, but I don't believe I ever will. It is one show I will hate to ever see canceled. Are you a fan of 24? What do you think of Jack Bauer?

How I love 24! My husband introduced me to it about 4 years ago and I've been hooked on it ever since. Jack Bauer aka Kiefer Sutherland is just the perfect character isn't he? Flawed but somehow extremely fanciable. He kills people but we all cheer when he does it. Strange! I am soo looking forward to the new series in a few days. After all the rubbish we have had to put up with over Christmas it will be a welcome relief to watch something decent for a change. I have also got to like The West Wing (hubby has the box set) which is odd as we live in England. I don't understand a lot about American politics but I've learned more about it since watching The West Wing. 24 though..different class!

I knew when I watched the very first episode of 24 that it would be a cut above the rest, Janey, and it hasn't failed me yet! I am happy you're enjoying it as much as I am. In these changing times when the staying-power of any show is so uncertain 24 has proved itself again and again. I miss West Wing a lot since it went off the air here in the U.S. In many ways that show sparked my interest in politics.

Yeah, bunnybon, I think that the whole premise of doing an entire season based on a single day didn't go over too well with a lot of people. Shoot, I didn't know if I would like the show myself, but I instantly fell in love with it. And you're right, he is hot!

I can't wait. It's one of my must see shows. I really like the fast pace and the characters. I also like the fact that the good guys win.

Isn't that the truth, mcat! If only we had a real Jack Bauer to look out for us!

I have the 17th circled on the calendar. I have watched Jack from the beginning and have no intention of stopping now. I saw the first preview for it the other night and it looks like it is going to be our usual 24 hours of excitement and action that we have come to expect from Jack. I did see Chloe in the preview and the female FBI agent from last year seems to have extended her stay at least for the beginning. I'm ready.

Now that it has come and gone, jewels, I will be counting the days between each new episode! It wouldn't be the hit that it is without Chloe. She's my girl!
